After being very disappointed by the Colossal Volume Express mascara, this one has really redeemed Maybelline! This mascara lengthens extremely well. It is also very, very black. It separates my lashes very well, and does not clump. As far as volume, I don't think this mascara is advertised as volumizing, but my lashes need length more than they need volume. You will be amazed at the length and definition you have after just two coats. I have been skeptical about cheap mascaras, so I have been using Diorshow for quite some time, but Maybelline Lash Stiletto is the only other mascara I have tried that matches the length and definition that Diorshow gives me. I had been using Merle Norman's Luxiva mascara but it ran out on me right before going out last night. I went up and bought this as a "need this now" decision and was actually impressed. I LOVE the way the brush is... it's very long which makes it easier to apply. I noticed that shorter brushes, I tended to hit my temple or the upper part of my cheek with the mascara when in a hurry. This is nice and long so I can hold it further from my skin. Pros
