I don't wear eye shadow, but I started wearing eyeliner a few months ago. I was debating whether or not to get this or its equivalent from Bobbi Brown or MAC. I started seeing some good reviews on this gel liner and thought for the sale price online, why not try it out before splurging on the other alternatives.

It works wonderfully. I'm not sure about the reviews indicating that it's challenging to make a thin line with this. I use the brush that comes with it by first coating it with the gel by turning the brush over and over on the back of my hand. I can make a very thin line with the brush that's included. In fact, I use that brush to apply other liners as well. It works great. I've had the pot for over 4 months and the product has NOT dried out. Just make sure you close the lid tightly.

Immediately after using the brush I clean it with eye makeup remover, followed by soap and water. This ensures that the brush is ready when I need it. If you leave the product on the brush it will dry out and trying to apply product with a crusty brush is a battle you will inevitably lose.

The first time I used this I did not use primer (never had a need for it because I did not wear eye makeup previously) and the liner started moving down my eyes within an hour. I learned my lesson and am now using this with the Sonia Kashuk eye primer. This prevents the product from slipping for at least 10 hours (not exaggerating) and my eyelids are beyond oily.

I was worrying about using gel eyeliner for the first time but it went really well. I use it with eyelid primer because I have oily eyelids (tried with both Too Faced and Urban Decay, both work great). The eyeliner stay put for over 9 hours. There is zero smudge on my eyelids. I do get a little product in the small wrinkles on my undereye area :-( , but it could be coming from the other eyeliner product I use for my lower eyeliners (I keep thinking gel is too heavy for lower liners but I might give it a try. I will update this if I do.). I think this eyeliner combine with the eyelid primer gives me the best, relatively clean, and long lasting result so far. I will probably stick with it. The removal is also easy, I use "Garnier Nutritioniste The Refreshing Remover Cleansing Towelettes" and it works well.

Great product, was hesitant, but worked out well. used with maybelline color tattoo. never smudged or smeared. Normally eyeliner runs on me, i have oily lids but this did not.

Smudges after an hour or so after application. I look like a raccoon and prefer not to have that "look". Have thrown it away. What a waste of money.

After applying the eyeliner, I later noticed that it smears. After a time it has smeared & I have to use a wet tissue to clean up the smudging. If one wants to look like a raccoon, that would be fine. However, that is not my "look". I tossed it out after only 2 uses.

I have tattoo eyeliner that is fading. With this product, it looks better than permanent make-up and I can change it any way I want at any time. Love it!

I wear this every day!! It makes clean precise lines and has the same wonderful qualities as liquid liners, without all the trouble of applying.

I use i with an angled brush, just because it makes it easier to create the desired line. I love that if i create a "wing" or "cat-eye" look, the tip or corner will last all day and won't smudge like liquid liners. I also use it for my upper and lower water line, and i don't need to touch up often when i do this. The color is very black, which i love, and this is the best gel/eye liner!!
