The line goes on as thin or thick as you want. I love the black sparkle because it gives a bit of a shimmer with the black. The only issues I've had is when I've dropped it and broke the liner inside the tube or extended too much liner and broke off a chunk. That causes some waste. I'm more careful now so don't have those issues and it is worth being careful because I love this eyeliner.

The eyeliner did not go on as smooth as i wanted and it was very hard to remove even with makeup remover wipes. If your like myself who likes thick eyeliner, this product apples a very thin line

This is the best eye liner I've tried, and the colors are great. Stays on all day, doesn't smudge (unless you purposely blend it)...a perfect fine line.

THIS IS THE BEST OF ANY BRAND AVAILABLE NOW FOR A LASTING EYELINER. IVE TRIED THE DEPARTMENT STORE BRANDS AND OTHERS THAT CLAIM TO LAST (INCLUDING MAYBELLINE'S "UNSTOPPABLE" WHICH ISN'T). GOOD COLORS TOO, ESPECIALLY IF YOU LIKE METALLIC...I THINK IT SOFTENS THE LINE.
Expert application tips: Turn clockwise one full turn per use. For a thin line, gently glide liner along lower and upper lash line close to lashes. To build a thicker line, layer 3-4 lines side by side along lash line. Remove with Maybelline® New York Expert Eyes 100% Oil-Free Makeup Remover or soap and water.
