After using Bare Minerals powders for a few years I decided to try the Maybelline mineral powders since they are so much less expensive. I've been very happy with them. I use them just like Bare Minerals - with the finishing veil as a base and the colored mineral powder on top, and finishing veil if I ever need a touch up. The coverage is great and they provide a very natural, non made-up look.

I absolutely love this product! I originally had a more expensive veil, but didn't want to shell out the money to buy it again. Turns out, I like the budget buy better! My skin feels so soft and my makeup stays on all day long. If you work long hours, this will literally save your face.

Never liked the look or feel of foundation but got to the point where I needed something to even out my skin tone. The translucent mineral powder is so light and natural looking and does the job! Even helps tone down redness of rosacea. Nicely priced compared to other mineral powders. Maybe the price could be reduced if the tiny little brush wasn't included in every package. It is pretty worthless- small and scratchy. Purchase your own better quality brush and you are set !

I use this will my E.L.F studio kabuki brush. I apply it over my concealer to set it and control shine. Covers well, with minimal color change which is what I am looking for. I have sensitive skin which breaks out at the drop of a hat. This doesn't irritate my skin at all.

The coverage is light, lasts the day but could be a bit heavier. The Translucent shade is best for my fair skin and feels good on the face. However, I'm still looking for a better mineral powder, L'Oreal's mineral foundation has a tendency to turn off-color after having it on all day. I'm still lookin'.
