This lasts all day! I curl and put this on and my eyelashes are still curled at the end of the day! It doesn't run either [which is the benefit of a waterproof mascara]. It is difficult to remove, even with regular eye maekup remover.

This review is strictly for the waterproof formula. I have super straight Asian eyelashes. A lot of mascaras will actually uncurl them after I've curled them with an eyelash curler. (What's worse than straight eyelashes? Straight eyelashes with mascara that leaves marks on your under eye because they've lost their curl.) I've tried a bunch of drugstore and some department store mascaras over the years. I love the Maybelline Full 'N Soft Waterproof formula and the Maybelline The Colossal Waterproof Volume Express mascaras best of all so far. The Full 'N Soft is more natural looking and the Colossal is more dramatic. Been using the Colossal more often of late but they're both great mascaras and will save you over department store brands.

This would be my all time favorite mascara if it weren't for the extreme difficulty (or I should say impossibility) of removing it. I always wash it off at the end of the day with my makeup remover (that works for EVERY OTHER mascara)but even when I'm done it looks like I am still wearing the mascara and a few eyelashes have come out in the process. The next two days after I have worn this I will have mascara shadows under my eyes that also don't want to come off so my eyes look dark and racoonish for two days. I only wear this for special occassions now when I am willing to put up with the consequences. I haven't tried the non-waterproof version so perhaps this makes a difference.

I have used this mascara for many years now. Ever since I discovered it. You can put on one coat for a daytime look, adding a second coat later in the day will make this look extraordinary for going out. The glam black color is very cute, I use the non-waterproof one and find that it washes off easily but does not run if my eyes tear, or even if I get stuck in the rain.
It's great for creating thick, long lashes, and doesn't feel heavy or sticky. You will know when it's getting old though, and it will start flaking on you. Time for a new bottle when that happens but I hear you're supposed to get a new bottle every month or so for the sake of germs.

I've bought just about every type/ brand of mascara there is over the years from beauty supply, high end to even drugstores, in search of the pefect one . . . .

In this case, was just looking for a relatively cheap 'waterproof' mascara for pool season :) Saw this while looking for another, and figured why not - couldn't beat the sales price at the time either. Glad I didn't spend much $ on it, b/c it ended up right in the garbage can after the first use. . .

IF YOU LIKE THE LOOK OF RACOON EYES, THEN THIS IS THE MASCARA FOR YOU!!!

Not only is this 'waterproof' mascara NOT waterproof, the globs that come out on the brush leave make for a very clumpy application (even after wiping the excess off on a paper towel)

ABSOLUTELY, THE WORST MASCARA I'VE EVER USED - WATERPROOF OR NOT!

Have found that one of the only 'cheaper' drugstore brands that is worth it is the one made by Boots 7, here on drugstore.com. Only thing is that they do not offer the same one (gold applicator bottle w/ green brush) in waterproof. Otherwise the best mascara's I've used to date are made by Borghese, Lancome & even one made by Clinique.

best for volume, yes it looks bulky and hidieous but that bulky look is how your lashes will look like after u apply one application. my lashes instantly looked incredibally fatter& decently longer. this is a double ganger of Dior Show with great volume, no visible Clumping and no smudging, & it contains Collagen which is a thiickening agent in this mascara. its fantastic because its water proof so i definitely recommend this product!!

I'm glad I ordered this mascara even though someone wrote very negative remarks. It doesn't clump, spike, flake and removes easily with eye makeup remover. It looks great and has a very good price!

I bought this product for a wedding last weekend. I was a guest but also the photographer. So waterproof mascara it was, and I thought it was a great price.

I woke up the next morning to find a VERY painful, blistered rash around both of my eyes. Awful, awful product that I will never use again.

My skin is normally NOT sensitive to costmetics, etc.... so it was a huge shocker to wake up with such a reaction.

Stay safe and do not purchase this product!

I was really hoping to fall head over heels with this mascara. Maybe I was too enthusiastic - I imagined that I would use this mascara and get false looking lashes. I didn't get that right away, but with every use, I start liking this stuff more and more. It is a GREAT black color, probably one of the blackest I have ever used. It lengthens great, and really makes my eyes pop. I don't really get as much volume as I would like though, and also it is impossible to take off! I normally use it at the same time as another mascara for a really dramatic effect.
