I've used this mascara for many, many years. I've tried others now and again, but always go back to this one. I have fairly long eyelashes but they're very straight and once I curl them and put this mascara on, it holds the curl until I take it off. I prefer the waterproof since it stays on until I'm ready to remove it.

Has residue underneath eye by a few hours. Does stay on better than majority of waterproof mascaras I've tried. (bring back MARATHON in the green tube!). Since so many ppl complained about waterproof being 'hard to remove', manufacturers listened to YOU, and the rest of us have to suffer with poor substitutes. I WANT it difficult to remove! I want to wear-it-off, not clean it off.This particular CLASSIC comes off too, but less than Covergirl Professional which I had been using.I consider CLASSIC the best of what's now available in the mid-price range. It does clump from being dried, but if you have patience, you can work it out to look natural by brushing gently till clump attaches to brush again. Take papertowel (NOT kleenex!) and swipe the brush to permanently remove that little clump from ruining the entire tube later.

I went swimming and it is not waterproof. I'm still looking for a good waterproof mascara that doesn't run down my face.

I was really hoping this was going to be "the one". It's NOT. First couple uses it seemed to work pretty good at thickening and lengthening the lashes, but now it does neither and it seems like it's drying out quickly. The bright side is, it doesn't smudge or flake. But the search continues....

I have used many mascaras from expensive ones to cheap ones and this is by far the best mascara. I experiment with products but I end up regreting and throwing away other mascaras. I am going to stick with TRUSTY BLUE tube because it is the best!! People always compliment me on my Lashes and a girl at works swears my eyelashes are fake because they are so thick, long and lush. I have been using this product for years. I always recommend and end up getting girlfriends to switch. They love it too.

I am a blonde, so I need mascara, but don't want to look like Alice Cooper by the end of the day. This mascara goes on nicely and brings out the best in your eyelashes. I have actually received compliments on my mascara, and this has never happened before (I am a first time user).
