I really like this mascara--it does a great job separating my lashes. That said, I was hoping for a thicker, kind of retro look from this product, which I didn't find. The cat-eyes is just marketing.

I absolutely LOVE this mascara. It lengthens and volumizes at the same time, it's incredible. This is my holy grail, and makes my eyelashes touch my eyebrows, that's how well it lengthens. It's better than the "They're Real!" Mascara from Benefit (which has a lot of hype right now). Save the money and go with this one because it is incredible!

I have no idea what's Cat Eye-ish about this mascara. It goes on easily without clumps, but I just can't get the kind of volume I'd like. I've been using it as a base coat and it works fine.

I loved the lengthening effect of this mascara, but it didn't provide enough volume for me personally. However, when I put on L'Oreal Voluminous with this mascara on top of it, I get a glorious, big lashed look. So I think I'll keep Voluminous for daily use and add on the Cat Eyes when I go out. If you already have thick lashes and just want to lenghten, this would probably be your ideal mascara. I don't think it produces eyes that are more "cat eye" than regular mascara, but I like the cheetah print package!
