I guess if you have very fine or thin lashes, this product may work for you. I do not, so this product applied very thick and clumped up on my lashes. I couldn't get it applied evenly and I didn't get a lengthening effect. It made my lashes all stick together and I was constantly trying to use something to separate them. It's very good at creating the "spider" effect with your lashes.

Not great. I like the brush shape but the mascara is sooo thick and clumpy. I do not think I will be purchasing again.

The Falsies is the all around best mascara that I have tried, and I have tried them all! It literally scoops up your lashes and makes them look curled and open without a single clump. No flakes, washes off easily. You need to get the hang of the bendy brush but once you do it's fantastic.

The "Falsies" in the name of this must stand for false advertising. I've been using Maybelline mascara almost exclusively for most of life- and I've tried all kinds of top line brands like Mac, Stila, Shisedo, etc., but Maybelline has always been superior. I love their other Volume Express XL mascra's with the primer on one end and color on the other, which makes my normally short eyelashes look long, full and luscious. This "The Falsies- Volume Express" is a disgrace to an otherwise excellent line. While it does seem to give my lashes some separation, it does not in any way define, give them volume, lengthen, or the appearance of having false lashes on, and frankly barely even made a difference- I might as not even be wearing mascara with this stuff. Maybe it is just supposed to be used on false lashes??? I was so excited to get it, and so disappointed when I did, I wish I spent my [$] on something else, and I am still currently without a decent mascara.

I've tried a lot of mascara but this is the best. My eyelashes are thin and short, always hard to get lashes to look full and long no matter how much I put on. A few swipes of this mascara and I was amazed. No clumping or smearing. Washes off easily with water.

This is easily the worst mascara I have ever used. I bought a tube of it yesterday and I tried it out today (on one eye only) and it's just awful! It has a VERY strong, dollar store-like perfumey/hand lotionish smell to it, which I can't understand at all; why would you add fragrance to mascara? Do eyeballs stink? It made my eyelashes look bad too, just a lot of clumping and flaking. For a bonus, after wearing it for approximately 5 minutes, my eye started itching and burning. This product is not hypo-allergenic either, so if you're like me and you have allergies and/or sensitive eyes, you REALLY don't want to bother with this product. Mine is going in the trash.

This mascara was disappointing. The first coat didn't do much, and the second coat left my lashes clumped together. By the end of the day the tips of my lashes were looking really odd. There are many other inexpensive mascaras out there that work much better.

When I first bought this, I absolutely hated it. It went on really clumpy and looked terrible. I'm too cheap to just throw things out, so I kept trying again periodically for the next few weeks but still didn't like it. Then one day, I have no idea why, but it started going on much more evenly and actually looked really nice, with good length and volume. Now I use it every day. However, it was not worth the time it took for it to become acceptable to me. (My friend said the same happened to her--she hated it but it started working better after some time.)
