I use this pillow every night. I love it. I was having neck pain so bad every morning and even at night and was unable to turn my neck very far because it was so sore and tight. After one night of sleeping on this pillow I added a little more water and then I have enjoyed sleeping on it. My neck was no longer sore or hurt in the mornings. It only took 2 days for my neck pain to go away. I had been dealing with it daily for 2 months and off and on for a whole lot longer than that. This was definitely worth the [$]. I do not hear the water moving around in the pillow, only if I move really suddenly. If you do hear the water moving around in there--make sure all of the air is out of the pillow.

I'm a side-sleeper who has been searching for a resonably-priced pillow that won't flatten out in a few months. I've been using this pillow for over a month now. It has a good amount of 'padding' around the water chamber, so don't worry about it being too cold to sleep on. It's very easy to fill and if you follow the instructions to get the air out, there's no water-sloshing sounds while sleeping. It seems to be well made, so I don't worry at all about leaks.

However, I like a thick pillow, and after adding the maximum amount of water, I find myself wishing the pillow was a bit thicker. I emailed the manufacturer over a week ago to see if I could add even more water than the 5 qt maximum, but haven't yet received a response.

Please note: If you fill this pillow with the maximum amt of water, it gets quite heavy (over 10 lbs). This is something to keep in mind if the user is like me & doesn't have much arm strength. I sleep with my arm under the pillow, and lifting this pillow to get my arm under it & get it into position under my neck, is fairly difficult. Once in place, though, the weight is not a problem.

Overall, the outside padding provides a wonderfully soft surface on which to lay your head, which can only be described as "luxurious". I just LOVE it. At the same time, the water chamber provides firm support. If you don't want a real thick pillow, I would highly recommend this product.

I used the pillow after neck surgery and I am still using. It cradles the head and supports the neck. I recently sent one to my granddaughter who was injured in a pool accident and suffers from constant neck pain & headaches. She filled hers to Medium and won't sleep on anything else! She wakes without stiffness.
When I take it on travel. I empty the water and pack in my suitcase.(be sure to pack the filler tool so that you can unscrew & refill.

Comments about Mediflow PolyWaterbase Fiber Pillow, 1 ea:

I've been having neck and shoulder pains for a long while. I really need a right pillow that can relieve my pain. I didn't give an expectation on this pillow cos it's difficuit to find a pillow suitable for side and back sleepers. At first I felt the pillow is still too soft even I filled in the water to the firm level. After a week of using it, I've felt that my neck pain is relieved a bit. At least I don't wake up in the middle of night due to the pain like what I experienced previouly.

The only drawback is the bad design. The plastic bag which stores the water is too thin and the cap is underneath the pillow. If it leaks, water will be all over your mattress.

I didn't think I'd like sleeping on a water filled pillow but I absolutely love it. The thickness is perfect and I have no upper body aches that have incurred for my other pillows.

Comments about Mediflow PolyWaterbase Fiber Pillow, 1 ea:

I have suffered from a pinched nerve in my neck for years and have never found relief in any neck pillow until now. I have owned this pillow for a month. And from the second night on from sleeping on it my neck pain, which would wake me during the night or greet me as I woke in the morning was gone. I can hardly believe there is a pillow that offers me such relief, but this one does, every single night. It is truly life-changing for me.

                Neck pain gone!

Comments about Mediflow PolyWaterbase Fiber Pillow, 1 ea:

I have had neck pain for years and have tried all kinds of pillows to prevent waking up with both neck pain and headache. I used to have to put a heating pad on my neck every morning. My chiropractor told me he and his wife use the mediflow so I decided to give it a try. No more neck pain! I am so happy with it! I added the water for a medium firmness at first and it helped my neck pain, then added more to make it firmer and it was completely gone! I would recommend the Mediflow quilted cover for it because it can be a bit cold the first couple of days until the water warms up inside. I love this pillow! My husband got one too and while he still snores some, his snoring is no longer as loud as it used to be.

The water bladder was not cylinderally shaped, as I somehow expected for cervical support, but it is just a bed of water and of course you can't squoosh that into any helpful shape. I found it so uncomfortable no matter what I did to adjust the water volume, etc. Also it was cold, which for me becomes very painful when sustained. It will join my other failed pillow collection...

This pillow is better than the usual pillow. The water inside helps because you can put more in if it is too soft, or take some out if it is too hard. I was hoping it would feel cool, but haven't noticed that at all. Maybe if I put it in the freezer for a few minutes before bed. All in all, I would recommend it for the price!
