Comments about Medline Elevated Toilet Seat, 1 ea:

We bought this raised toilet seat for my 90 year old Mother-in-law. She is not steady on her feet and falls frequently, so we were concerned about her when she visited our home. This seat easily installs when she needs it, and removes just as easily when the visit is over. She uses her walker to pull herself up/down, but if she didn't have the walker, I would recommend some sort of handle for stability. This seat is perfect for our needs and very affordable.

Comments about Medline Elevated Toilet Seat, 1 ea:

I am a disabled person with a bad back and a bad left hip. I have trouble with bathrooms that have the low toilets. I use it at home and take it with me everywhere I go. It is a life saver. It also has flaws. It needs a handle and a travel bag to make it discretely portable. It is slightly too high in elevation. Mine did develop a crack in it Overall it has been a lifesaver. I would recommend this to a friend but I would also let them know the problems I have had with it.

Comments about Medline Elevated Toilet Seat, 1 ea:

This is a good product for anyone who has trouble rising from a seated position. Yes, you can slide it an inch or so in any direction once it is placed on the toilet, but that's what makes it a "one size fits all" and I have not experienced any "wobble". I am an average height, very overweight female and find it an excellent choice in a bath where the toilet cannot be replaced. When I travel overnight, I carry this with me and am never "stuck" with low hotel toilets.
My mother, who is 84 and must use a walker, purchased one that she carries with her when she knows there will be no handicapped toilet available. I made vinyl bags, in the shape of the original box, and no one is the wiser. Include a pack of wipes to clean it after use and it's ready to go.
I think this is an excellent, temporary alternative.
