The time to teach is now! A colorful wooden clock features 12 wooden blocks, each a different shape, which fit into matching slots, plus movable hands! With lots of "timely" information on the hands and clock face, this is the perfect toy to help children master an abstract concept.
Comments about Melissa and Doug Shape Sorting Clock Ages 3+, 1 ea:
I purchased this twice- first as a Christmas present for a 2 1/2 y.o. boy and his mother says he loved it. Then i gave it to a 2 y.o. girl as a birthday present. I suggested to the mom to put it aside and bring out at a later date. For one, because she got so much stuff, and secondly, the sorting of 12 shapes, opposed to the 6-8 that are included in most shape games/toys, may be a bit much for her at this time. She agreed, and also thought it was a wonderful gift.Very sturdy and colorful; it also has a great price!
