I experienced the same thing with the clogged nozzle. Then I called Method's customer service, they were very helpful and acknowledged the problem with certain softener batch that was too thick causing the nozzle to clogged up. They mailed me a coupon for $10 total as a replacement. I bought the same one (lavender lilac) again at the store, haven't had any problems with the spray nozzle at all. I am still using it! I love the fact there is no waste. It might smell very strong when you are spraying it, but the smell difuse after the clothes dry. The scent is nice! It does an okay job in reducing static, I usually throw in the dryer balls at the same time to further remove the static. Works quite well. Hopefully Method will come up with a refillable soon, and more scent variety.

What a disappointment! I'm a loyal customer for Method products, which is why I buy them online rather than find a different brand in my local store. I was hoping to get the wet dryer sheets that this site used to sell. I bought this as a substitute and because Method is claiming this product cuts down on waste. As it turns out, my purchase was a waste.

The smell of this product is so strong--think flowery chemicals--that both times I've used it I developed a headache within minutes. The first time I thought it might be a fluke. The second time I knew it was the product. In fact, I just used it for the second time and as I write this I feel nauseous from the smell that's permeated my house.

Further, when I went to an important function at work, someone near me asked if I was wearing a new perfume, but I could tell she wasn't asking because she liked it. No! It was this stuff. I was embarrassed, to say the least. I don't think I've ever smelled someone's fabric softener/dryer sheets on them at work, especially not at a formal function.

My other complaint is about the bottle design. The first time I used it, on the 4th spray the nozzle stopped working. I managed to get it going again, but only got one or two sprays before it stopped working again. Now it's collapsed in on itself. If I want to keep using it (which I don't) I'll have to buy a new spray bottle. That alone means the whole product and it's container are a waste--for my wallet AND for the environment.

C'mon, Method, I expect better from your company.

Comments about method Dryer Activated Fabric Softener, Lavender Lilac, 12.2 fl oz:

Method used to make the BEST dryer sheets on earth. I would drive miles out of my way to purchase them. It appears that they replaced those with this product. I threw it out after a few uses. My clothes had so much static cling, it just wasn't getting the job done.

Comments about method Dryer Activated Fabric Softener, Lavender Lilac, 12.2 fl oz:

I don't like conventional fabric softener or dryer sheets because they seem to coat my clothing or leave a residue. This not only smells great its just enough to control static. Its extremely economical (that bottle lasts FORever with regular use) and I don't have dryer sheets laying all over my garage floor.

Hard to find. Glad I found it here!

I have been using this product occasionally for several months. The nozzle on my bottle clogged, but I turned the square head to the opposite side and it has worked perfectly since then. I like the fragrance, it reduces static and is really easy to use. I plan on buying it again. Good stuff!

I got this product thinking how convenient it would be. Unfortunately, the spray nozzle got clogged easily, and it did not soften my clothes at all. The scent is EXTREMELY strong and hard to get off of your hands or anything it comes in contact with. Definitely will not buy again!

I used this one time and the spray bottle broke. I was a bit disappointed because I didn't get to use it on all my clothing. It was hard to spray at times. Other people in the laundry said it smelled good. I would recommened it to a friend. But there needs to be some improvments on the spray bottle.

This product has worked well for me--I'm back to order more. As other reviewers have noted it works well at softening a variety of fabrics. Clothes and linens have consistently come from the drier looking great and feeling soft when I used this fabric softener. Used as directed, it leaves clothes smelling fresh, not fragrant. The spray bottle has been working fine for me.

Don't buy this. It worked fine the first time I used it. The second time, the sprayer was completely blocked. I took it apart and cleaned it, but only got one spray out of it. Give Method time to work out the problems with this product before spending your money on it.

This softens well and smells great, but doesn't do much for static. After about 6 uses, the trigger mechanism on the bottle broke, so I will have to buy a new spray bottle to pour the softener into if I want to be able to continue to use this product. I would recommend this if they improve the quality of the bottle it comes in; otherwise, take a pass on this one.
