I love this soap it cleans well and smells great. The scent is supposed to be minimal for those who dont like too strong of smells. It really does smell gentle like Sweet Water if you can imagine it. And the clear bottle looks great in any bathroom.

When I first bought hand soaps here, I picked two, this and Dial's antibacterial foam wash. I love both of them but this one has a nice unique scent. It's very subtle and it's probably why there is no color, hence the name, Sweet Water. I don't know why some people think it's too much scent while others think it's not enough. I guess it's all relative and subjective. Either you love it or hate it. Objectively, this is a very good hand soap. Has a gentle, fresh, clean scent that's not overpowering, it doesn't dry (contains vitamin E and aloe vera) and it's environmentally aware. Even better that they now have a foaming version. Now if only it's antibacterial I would give it 10 stars!

Silky feeling on my skin, this soap definitely doesn't dry it out...and I tend to have dry skin. I came upon Method products in the supermarket, drawn to them by the excellent design and use of color. The only one that disappoints me is their dishwasher cubes that leave glasses cloudy. The rest are quite good. Pricey, yes, but so far, worth it.

I really like many methods products but this soap severely dried my hands out until they were cracked and painful. I thought it was the weather at first, but when I switched to a different soap the dryness healed. I tried the soap again (because I had purchased 2 and didn't want to toss it), and the dryness started returning immediately. Maybe I'm allergic to it or something.

The scent of this product is minimal. You have to sniff at it a long time before you can figure out what it is, like a canister of spices that has been sitting around for a decade. That can be a good or a bad thing, but for a relatively expensive product, you might want a little scent.

Lasts a long time, and doesn't dry out my hands. I'm not sure if I got the wrong batch but it smells like Vaseline brand lotion to me. Not very pleasant. I like the Green Tea and Grapefruit more.

Very pretty bottle. The smell reminds me of a SoftSoap product (clear) that I used years ago. It's actually a very plesant smell. My husband was happy using it right away, and likes the smell, too.

Great stuff. Love the smell and love that the soap is clear. Works well. I enjoy pretty much all of the Method soaps.

I enjoy the smell of this hand wash; also the fact it cleans better then anything else I have tried. I did rate it 3 stars because it is rather drying, my hands feel incredibly dry after I use it. It works well, but I must use lotion afterwards. I will still continue to use it though, and I always use hands lotion anyway.
