I am a fan of cleaning products being as natural as possible, and particularly have loved everything I've tried from Method, but if they don't get something clean it's not worth it. And I avoided this product for a while, assuming it wouldn't really get my laundry clean. Then one day I saw it on sale and decided to try it. My old stand-bys were Tide w/ Bleach Alternative and Woolite. This cleans as well as the Tide. I have a 6 yr old and 3 yr old, who get marker, applesauce, or something on their clothes daily, and I have had no problem getting stains out completely. The one thing is, you have to read ths instructions as to how many "pumps" to use. 4 pumps is for a medium load. I rarely do a medium load. 6 pumps is for a "large" load, and because mine are often "super", and the first couple of squirts sometimes are a little weak, I usually am using 8 pumps for a super load. But I LOVE this product. Works well, smells fresh (I still use the Tide on my husband's clothes since this is a little flowery smelling, so will probably switch to another fragrance), is gentle, no complaints! I have washed about 4 different loads of clothes and I am not happy. It was if I washed them without detergent. The bottle says to use 4 pumps for a small load or use 6 for a large load. I used the 6 pumps (which should have been a little more than I needed). My clothes were not clean, they still smelled dirty. It seems I might as well have washed them in plain water. I think in an effort to shrink this detergent down to a cute little bottle they took out all the stuff that actually cleaned your clothes. This product seems like little more than perfumed water. I had to re-wash all four loads of laundry in Tide detergent and then they were clean. Don't waste your money this stuff is expensive and doesn't work. It works better when washed on warm than cold when washing whites. It removes stains from clothing perfectly when rubbed into the fabric before washing.
