This product is especially nice for bed linens. The frangrence is that of a true lavender, comparable to that of the crushed buds. This is perhaps a little floral for the rest of your laundry, but for bed linens there is something very agreeable about it. These spots were not on the clothing prior to washing, nor were they on the clothes coming out of the washing machine. The spots were on clothes from the dryer. Comments about method Squeaky Green Dryer Cloths, French Lavender, 40 ea: I was looking forward to using this product and ditching my more chemical-based dryer sheets. First the packaging was a problem. There's a resealable strip of plastic or paper to close the opening after you remove a dryer sheet. But the sheets are WET, so the plastic strip doesn't seal well after you use it. They left wet stuff on my hands when I pulled them out, and the smell of our clothing after drying was not very pleasant. Comments about method Squeaky Green Dryer Cloths, French Lavender, 40 ea: I don't like the waxy feeling and chemical fragrances of ordinary dryer sheets so I'd been just putting up with static cling. These cloths do a fabulous job of taming static and the fragrance is pleasant--though lavender seems more like a component than the centerpiece.
