Qwirkle™ is as simple as matching colors and shapes, it also requires tactical maneuvers and well-planned strategy. The game consists of 108 wooden tiles with six shapes in six colors. Players score points by building lines of tiles that share a common attribute - either color or shape. Qwirkle is quick to learn, but you'll soon discover that you'll need to think strategically to score the most points.

Each player draws six tiles. The player with the most tiles that share one attribute (either color or shape), plays those tiles to start the game. Players take turns adding to the grid. Tiles added to a line must share an attribute with the tiles already in the line. As players create new line and add to existing lines, one point is scored for each tile in a line that is created or added to. An additonal six bonus points can be earned by completing a line of six tiles - this is called a Qwirkle.
