I HAVE BEEN USING THIS PRODUCT FOR OVER 10 YEARS, AND I CONSIDER IT A BLESSING THAT I FOUND IT. MY SEVERE DUST AND MITES ALLERGY DRIVES ME INSANE, BUT AFTER USING MITE-NIX ON A REGULAR BASIS ON BEDDING AND SHEETS, PILLOWS, ETC, IT REALLY DOES THE JOB. ONCE A MONTH I SPRAY, INCLUDING DRAPES, AND I'VE GOTTEN TO THE POINT THAT THAT I FORGET ABOUT THE ALLERGY. This is one of the things I use to help my son, who got TERRIBLE eczema as a result of dust mite allergies. (It was so bad the pediatrician prescribed oral steroids). Once I determined that his problem was due to dust mites, I made several changes. I switched to a higher quality furnace filter, traded my old vacuum for one with a better filter, and bought this product. I also put a natural salve on his skin. I spray a light mist of mite-nix on the carpet once a month, after vacuuming. Within a week of making these changes, I saw improvement. The only thing I have to do now for him is do the mite-nix once a month. He no longer needs anything topical. Great product!

I had a lot of hope when I bought it. However, I DID NOT see any improvement of running nose, stuffy nose and itchy eyes as it promised (I used the whole bottle). Try Bissell Acarosan if you want something that helps your allergy. There are no ingredients listed on the bottle (it only says 'all natural'). I think it's unfair to consumers. Is it truely organic? What if I have an allergic reaction to the content? I would never know what causes the reaction.
One 16-ounce bottle of Mite-NIX™ will treat 150 square feet of surface area. Mite-NIX™ should always be applied to clean, dry surfaces or fabrics to insure long-lasting effectiveness. First, clean surface to be treated by vacuuming, laundering or steam cleaning; then let dry. Apply a spray mist of Mite-NIX™ directly to carpet, upholstery, bedding, coverlets, and/or window fabrics. Leave the treated surface damp but not saturated. Drying time should be 20-30 minutes for most applications. Spray applications will provide anti-allergen performance for 30-60 days without washing.
Where extended performance or regular machine washing is preferred, introduce Mite-NIX™ into the final rinse cycle for linens at the ratio of one cup per load. The residual Mite-NIX™ will remain effective for up to four washings. Machine drying may slightly reduce effectiveness.
For machine carpet cleaning applications, use extraction method machine. Apply two ounces of Mite-NIX™ per two gallons of carpet cleaning solution or clear rinse water.
