I think this one actually made the frizz worse. My hair is pretty straight but I get a little frizz if I don't take the time to blow dry/straighten. I chose this product because I could apply it to wet hair. The texture felt like lube; gross.
I needed something to help detangle my hair and not be too heavy. I couldn't tell at first if this helped, but I wasn't using very much of it. Once I started using a lot of it I could tell it helped my hair not to tangle, but now I am almost out. It takes a lot to do the job.
I use this to tame fly aways, but also to moisturize my hair before blow drying and straightening. It gives my hair a barrier of protection, and added shine, but it doesn't feel or look heavy.
I use this after the Mixed Chicks Leave-In Conditioner, but I usually wait to put this on until my hair is almost dry, not soaking wet. This product is better on my hair than other shine enhancers because it allows my hair to keep its curl without weighing it down. You only need to use a tiny bit.
I am 100% Mexican not mixed at all and I love this product! My hair is straight, heavy, thick and dry. I do not use any "heat" on my hair or color it (I do not blow dry, flat iron it or curl it) I currently live in Kabul, Afghanistan. The water is full of chlorine ~ it seems to dry out my skin and hair. I read about this in a magazine (not sure which one) and decided to try it out along with their shampoo and conditioner. I used the shampoo & conditioner with great results. I used this and made the great result even BETTER! It is very light with a great deal of "slip". It tames my fly-a-ways, adds an amazing amount of shine without being greasy. I highly recommend this product and it is really a great deal at this price.
