to prevent liquids from leaking, put a small rubber band on the neck of the bottle and then twist the cap on. That will create an airtight, non-slip area.

If you do not feel comfortable with that, then before screwing the cap on, put a small plastic lunch bag over the neck of the bottle and twist the cap tightly. Hopefully that will prevent leaking and spilling. If that fails, give up and just buy your shampoo at your destination.

Don't be fooled by the photo... these bottles comes in ugly rainbow colors and are NOT clear like the picture. They also appear much larger than 3 oz each. I would return mine, but the page has a disclaimer I didn't see about "alternate colors" -- would be nice if it was more prominent and if they had appropriate pictures to represent that.

Used these bottles to hold my homemande hand sanitzer and it works great. It's the perfect size and doesn't get clogged!

These bottles are 3oz, perfect size. I read the reviews, so I made sure to fill the bottles about 3/4 to ensure they wouldn't leak. Unfortunately, they still leaked. Good idea, but ineffective product.

These bottles are great for carrying any liquids you need onboard when flying. Perfect size and stay closed. Easy to clean afterwards.

Yes, these are 3 oz each. But I had major issues with these LEAKING. Also, the silly "label" stickers slid off in the shower after the first use. I had to sniff the contents to figure out what's in them, because the colored bottles made it difficult to tell which were soap, shampoo, and conditioner!

Actually, I've carried these on planes both nationally and internationally without issue. They fit in the standard zip top plastic bag that TSA requires, and I've never had an issue even at international airports with them. The problem with these bottles is that they LEAK! Everything else in your zip top bag will be covered with whatever liquid you have in these bottles!

I used a pharmacist's 1 ounce measure to fill these and they hold exactly 3 ounces, not counting the area where the cap screws on, so they are fine for air travel.

Do NOT buy these for air travel. They are not 3 oz, as advertised, but more like 4 oz. It would be a waste of time and money to try to carry on these bottles.
