Monistat 3 Vaginal Cream is a 3-day treatment that cures most vaginal yeast infections.

Indications
For the treatment of vaginal yeast infections (candidiasis).
Warnings
If this is the first time you have had vaginal itching and discomfort, consult your doctor. If you have had a doctor diagnose a vaginal yeast infection before and have the same symptoms now, use this cream as directed for 3 days in a row.
For vaginal use only. Do not use in eyes or take by mouth.
Do not use MONISTAT 3 Vaginal Cream if you have any of the following signs and symptoms: fever (higher than 100° F); pain in the lower abdomen, back, or either shoulder; a foul-smelling vaginal discharge.
While using MONISTAT 3 Vaginal Cream if you get a fever, abdominal pain or a foul-smelling vaginal discharge, stop using the product and contact your doctor right away. You may have a more serious illness.
If your symptoms do not improve in 3 days, or you still have symptoms after 7 days, you should call your doctor.
If your symptoms return within two months, you should consult your doctor. You could be pregnant or there could be a serious underlying medical cause for your symptoms, including diabetes or a weakened immune system (which may be due to HIV -- the virus that causes AIDS).
Contact your doctor if you get hives or a skin rash while using this product.
Do not use tampons, douches, or spermicides while using this product.
Do not rely on condoms or diaphragms to prevent sexually transmitted diseases or pregnancy. This product may damage condoms and diaphragms and cause them to fail.
If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use.
Do not use in girls less than 12 years of age.
Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children.
In case of accidental ingestion, seek professional assistance or contact a poison control center immediately.
Important: Do not purchase if carton is opened. Each applicator is individually wrapped. If wrapper is missing or damaged, do not use. Return the product to the store where you bought it. Store at room temperature 15° - 30° C (59°-85° F). Avoid heat over 30° C or 86° F. See end flap for lot number and expiration date.

I was suppose to listen to the reviews this medicine is horrible and it burns and look at the box, its not even made in the US. This medicine made me scream and almost cry, I was trying to be strong. I will never use this again in my life. Shame on the makers of this, next time I'll take a pill.

I'm prone to yeast infections and this product works quickly and efficiently. It's easy to just keep a few boxes on hand and then they're there when I need it. No side effects and it always clears up the problem by the end of the last dosage.

Unfortunatly I get more than my share of yeast infections. I have used Monistat 7 in the past with no complaints. I decided to try the 3 day Monistat to avoid the whole week mess, so I bought this.
OMG!!!!!!!!! The first night I inserted the cream and in about 5 minutes I had some of the worst pain "down there" I have ever had. The BURNING was almost unbearable. After about an hour or so it became tolerable. In the morning, when the cream starts to come out due to gravity, the external burning was unbelievable too. I did not finish the next two days. I did go to my doc and he gave me a Rx for a pill.
P.S. I contacted the makers of Monistat, and they refunded my money. A small concilation.

I have used this product for years and have never had any burning or pain as mentioned in the other reviews. I don't notice it at all. In the summer the yeast infection occurs often and the 3 day dosage seems to clear it up, til the next time. I just wish they would find a permanent cure.

I bought this after reading reviews online that warned it would cause burning. In my case, burning lasted an hour after each dose. Four days after the last dose, I still had irritation so thought the yeast infection was still there and decided to try Monistat 7-day. I used the first dose of 7-day and the residual irritation made it burn so bad I was crying. I called my doctor's office and they prescribed me a flucanozole (Duflucan) pill which I took today, which is supposed to cure yeast infections. So, believe the warnings.

I used this product for the first time and it burned like crazy...I couldn't move for about 15 mins b/c I was in so much pain. On the other days it wasn't as bad but it didn't completely cure my infection.

I recently got a yeast infection for the first time in my life. The first night I used the product it burned so badly inside me that I though I was going to have to scoop it out. The second night and third nights were fine. It did take care of my infection, but points off for the extreme discomfort the first night. I will be looking for something gentler next time.
