I originally bought these and used them as "dry erasers" you simply drag them dry over your lamp shades, blinds, any fabric that collects dust and WOW, beautiful!
Upon seeing the commercial, they are rather INDUSTRIAL at cleaning marks off the walls, stove spills, shoe marks (on shoes and on the floor) if you get them wet. If you have a bathroom floor to clean, use one of these, the dirt and grime it lifts will AMAZE you, and they are FAST. Throw it in the washer, but I wouldn't toss them in the dryer. When they get skinny, toss and use another,

The only complaints I have about the erasers is that they wear thin and dissolve quickly (but I'm a hard scrubber!) and that they don't clean tires/rims as well as they have been advertised to do.
I use these for just about anything I want to clean. No odor to them at all. Have been using since 2006. It gets out coffee stains, tea stains, cleans pots and pans, even got nail polish scrapes off my car door. It is the greatest cleaner I have ever used in my 60+ years. Once the pad gets too small, throw it away. When cleaning dishes, pots or anything that food has touched, they advise cleaning with detergent/dishwasher. Great product.
I own my own housecleaning business. I am very meticuloous about getting my customers homes clean. I couldn't do without the magic sponge. They are very helpful cleaning off body oils in showers and tubs. Without hardly any effort, they will take pencil and scuff marks off walls. They work just like 'magic'.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
– What makes grime go away with just one swipe? It's the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, of course. This handy little pure white eraser (just like Mr. Clean's own signature tee shirt) can remove scuff marks, hand prints, grease, dirt - just about anything - from just about any surface. Try it on walls, baseboards, floors, switch plates, counters, wherever there's a mess that needs to be cleaned. The Magic Eraser from Mr. Clean can clean smooth surfaces and textured ones, even reach into the grooves between tiles. Just wet in water, squeeze out the excess and give the surface a swipe. Each eraser is approximately 4½ by 2½ inches, and only an inch thick, just the right size for your hand. With eight Magic Erasers to a box, you can keep one handy in the kitchen, the bathroom, even the garage.
Safe To Use
The magic in the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is in the micro-scrubbers. That alone makes them so powerful that each wipe can remove more mess than the leading all-purpose spray cleaner - with just water! There's no need for harsh chemicals, so they're an ecologically sound choice. Since they're made from non-toxic materials and are disposable, they're also the healthy choice.
How Many Uses?
This isn't just another pot scrubber - although it can do that, too. Just try to think of a job it can't do. Crayon marks on walls? No problem. Sticky, half-baked barbecue sauce on the porch railing? Easy. Grubby, greasy handprints on the back door? Just swipe away. Even dried, caked-on mud on the entryway tile floor doesn't stand a chance. While the micro-scrubber surface isn't recommended for polished or matte surfaces, such as car body paint, the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is fearless about any mess you put it to clean. Best of all, it doesn't leave streak marks behind - only clean surfaces.
