I normally use, and love, Cascade action paks. I tried these because I love Mrs Meyer's stuff, and I love the geranium scent. At 2-3x the price of Cascade the only reason I wanted to try these was the "aromatherapy" effect some reviewers mentioned. I figured I'd use them occasionally. Well, I must have the world's most hermetically sealed dishwasher, because I could not smell one bit of the fragrance. I should say I have a VERY keen sense of smell, so I was stunned I could detect no scent at all while the dishwasher was running. So, to me these are a total waste of the extra $, and I am betting the Cascade would work better on heavily soiled dishes anyway.
Be sure to load dishes neatly. Place one pack into your dishwasher's soap cup. Do not unwrap or puncture the pack and make certain your hands are dry before handling. Don't forget to reseal bag after each use. These packs work wonderfully in regular machines and fancy European models. Not only are they earth-friendly, they also pack a punch when it comes to removing coffee and tea stains - without nasty phosphates and chlorine!
