Most Liked Positive Review Great for making laundry detergent I use Mrs. Meyer's products almost exclusively, but I couldn't fathom coughing up [$] for the laundry detergent. I ended up making my own with this soap, borax, washing soda, and plain old water. It made so much and it works wonderfully! The only problem is when the soap sits on the shelf or in the warehouse,the fragrance fades and doesn't last as long when you bring it home and use it. I bought this when it was first introduced and the fragrance was so powerful, it lasted forever as a sachet and in the soap dish. It used to contain "a touch of orange".I don't know if it does now but it's not on the label anymore. Perhaps that was another reason the fragance lasted so long. If you haven't tried the hand and body lotion,find it!! If you use the soap to bathe and follow with the lotion it keeps the fragrance going much longer. And if you like the soap as a sachet or room freshener,get the candles,they leave a fabulous fragrance in the room as well ,just leave the top off. Lastly, don't bother with the scent diffuser,it doesn't smell anything like the rest of the lavender products,which are ALL great.
