I was searching for a replacement for "downy"...My husband was a "downy" baby, his mom used it all his life, and he wanted a smell for his clothes. However, we were trying to get rid of all the chemicals in our house, and on our clothes, so I began my search for a good smelling, chemical free replacement. I found it This product is great, and I use my old downy ball and I just add a little water, so I can stretch it..(You don't have to) but it does a good job. Plus I use Mrs. Meyers Lavendar dryer sheets with it...and it's so nice.

I like this product for the most part, however, after a few loads it tends to get thick and collect in the bottom of my softener dispenser. I have a front load washer and I have to clean the dispenser as the softener just doesn't flow out easily. Otherwise my cloths smell nice and are static free and wrinkles are more easily removed.

I love this for sheets and towels only. The scent is nice and lasts for a few days-would be nice if it lasted longer, though. I love getting into bed and smelling lavender! Fragrance is not quite true to the essential oil but still nice. Small bottles of fabric softener run out before the larger bottles of laundry detergent, would be nice if they were the same size. These products also clean well and leave fabric soft. Not as expensive as Good Home products which are also nice.

I love Mrs Meyer's products. I use the Lavender dishwashing soap and this is my first purchase of the fabric softener. It is very gentle..leaves the towels so soft. The scent is very subtle, much less than using more popular brands of softener. But, for me, that's a good thing. It comes in a small container, don't expect it to last very long, I may try the dryer sheets and alternate the two.

Best fabric softener I've tried, and a great value. You only need a tiny amount and all of the clothes are soft and smell wonderful. You really do get 64 large loads from this with a normal washer.

Love the combo of using this softener along with the coordinating laundry soap and dryer sheets. The scent alone is worth it - smells clean, not cloying, and not overpowering. Your clothes smell great but not noticeably so, and frankly, I'd like it if the scent lingered a bit more. Lavender is not a sex-specific scent anyway, so my husband doesn't go out smelling flowery.
Like other Mrs. M products, this one does a fine job, but the clincher is the great smell. We have a tiny laundry room, and when I go back in to move laundry around or remove it from the dryer, it's like -aaah!- a real treat.
Simply use two capfuls in your rinse cycle to fragrance clothes, make them fluffy and soft, reduce unsightly static cling, and make your ironing easier.
