The result is amazing. it does take a little elbow grease though! The sides do not meet the corners of the file leaving a gap at all four sides making it hard to use and hard to file the inner corners of nail. And I don't always keep up with it but I have to say of all the buffers I've used over the years, this one rates up there, the file is great for working out any rough spots following an emery board and the buffer part really does work out the ridges and shines the nail. Easy to follow instructions and no pain, a 9 year old could use this effectively. The price is great for the quality; I've had it for a while and used it several times, it's still almost like new. I have small hands and the product fit nice in my palm and I did not need to add too much pressure to get desired results. I do not polish my nails and now I dont have to because I get a really nice shine from this product. Additionally, the price can not be beat!
