This along with a nasal spray has helped me to virtually eliminate nagging sinus problems as it helps to thin the mucous and keep everything flowing, thus lessening nasal congestion. It was recommended to be taken twice daily...AM/PM. I take at least one per day and have never had any side effects. I always take one about an hour before a vocal performance as it clears up any nagging congestion in my sinus area...which is very crucial for a vocalist. One last note...Mucinex is also vital for keeping the common cold in check because it does not allow mucous build up in the sinuses, throat, or chest. I highly recommend this product for allergy or cold suffers.
