Most Liked Positive Review Mucinex Years ago my allergist prescribed this product, which at that time it was not an over-the-counter product...it was known as Humibid/Guafinex. This along with a nasal spray has helped me to virtually eliminate nagging sinus problems as it helps to thin the mucous and keep everything flowing, thus lessening nasal congestion. It was recommended to be taken twice daily...AM/PM. I take at least one per day and have never had any side effects. I have chronic sinusitis and this is one of the medications which helps keep my sinuses open and clear so that I can breathe easier. Just take the normal daily recommended dose, if you take more than 2 per day you will get side effects. One every 12 hours is the best way to get to better health. Pros
