I really notice when Mucinex D stops being effective. Sadly, it happens a little earlier than the 12 hours advertised. Other than needing to drink lots of extra water to stay hydrated, this is a miracle drug! The long lasting pseudephedrine that comes in it is well-worth the expense of a brand-name. And the mucinex is great too, the perfect dose! Taking 2 (or 3) pills every 24 hours beats remembering to redose every 4 or 6.

This product is the only thing that works when my allergy or sinus conditions starts (along with nasal rinse) to prevent the symptoms from getting worse & going into full blown sinus infection.

I stick with this product because it works better on my sinus congestion and swelling than anything else I've found. I have to stand in line at a pharmacy to get it from behind the counter because of restrictions on some ingredients, but it is worth it to me.

I find that if I use this product daily I reduce the number of sinus infections I get to only one or two a year. Prior to using Mucinex D I would get 4 or more infections annually.

I have allergies, and was taking a time release pill for over a decade. Much to my disbelief the product I was taking was discontinued. I tried several other products with little relief. Finally I tried the MuninexD 600mg and I found relief. I have been taking Mucinex for over one year and I am almost at the same level that I was at with my discontinued time release pill.Thank You!!!!!

Now that Entax PSE is off the market and we have to resort to OTC substitutes, this is a reasonable one. Unfortunately, it costs 6 or 7 times what I paid by Rx, but drugstore.com's prices are the best I've seen.
