My now 13 month old began refusing a bottle completely at least at about 9 months and wouldn't use a sippy cup. I was so glad I found these cups because he loved using the straw! They are easy to assemble and disassemble and parts of them are easy to clean; the straw parts are, well, as difficult to clean as any straw. I would have given them 5 stars, except there is one situation that makes them "leak". When my son has milk left over, I put it in the refrigerator for later, but when I take it out of the refrigerator, the milk spontaneously goes up and out of the straw and makes a puddle. If I open it periodically and release the seal, it doesn't do this but it is a pain to have to remember to do it, and I can't leave it on my son's highchair tray without it being sealed. They don't leak any other time and since my son loves them, then I do to -- I will be buying more.

These cups are superb products. I have used them for over a year now, and although the rubber nipple/straw gets chewed up- they are easily replaceable through the munchkin website. These cups do not leak and wash well in the top rack of the dishwasher. Another slight drawback- if you leave water in the cup all day, the water tastes a bit like "plastic". Otherwise I can't think of anything wrong with this product. (These were recommended by my son's feeding therapist rather than use sippy cups, because they encourage kids to make an "o" ring with their lips to suck.)
