I suffer from recurrent corneal erosion. What this means--at least for me--is that I have chronically dry eyes and corneas that are weakly attached in at least one spot. So if I just go to sleep without any sort of ointment, when I wake up, the inner surface of my eyelids stick to my corneas, and I'm extremely likely to tear my corneas at the instant I open my eyes. The "drops" are added before going to bed, but it comes out in a thick almost solid "ribbon, making it hard to add to your eyes. It sticks to the eyes and causes very opaque blurring that does not easily vanish. This did not feel or seem natural at all. It temporarily blurs your vision, but this does not last. This is the BEST product I have ever used for chronic dry eyes! It lasts all night even if you wake up during the night reapplication not necessary. It's not greasy, oily or sticky. I have used Muro 128 ointment for 20 years at night and rarely need to use drops during the day for dry eyes.
