Although it does claim to be hypo-allergenic I just don't see how that can be since fragrance is added. I love the fragrance, don't get me wrong. It starts out very loud and strong, but throughout the bath it mellows out and leaves a wonderful scent behind. Adding fragrance nearly always spells disaster for sensitive or eczema prone skin! Another thing to consider is a topical allergy to coconut. This can be a huge allergen for eczema sufferers. There are a lot of products that contain "coco" additives so finding one that doesn't contain this is a big undertaking. Overall, I wish I could say this is wonderful, but with the fragrance and coconut my son just burned up and itched and cried for days before I realized this "hypo-allergenic" wash was the culprit. I will give thumbs up to the texture (nice and silky and lathers great) and to the scent. I just wished it worked for us. My poor kiddos faces and bodies were so dry and even chapped in some parts that I literally couldn't take it anymore! Both of my children (3.5 and 2.5) have very sensitive skin. J&J baby wash totally dried them out, Aveno was so so. We had Rx's from the doctors, I just didn't want to deal with that anymore since it wasn't even helping. At this point, I didn't care the cost. I wanted the BEST product for my children's skin. I researched and researched, listened to recommendation after recommendation. FINALLY, I just made a decision and bought this for my children. The results were TRULY instantaneous! No more chapped or dry skin! It's 100% WORTH the extra money. We would spend the extra money on our OWN beauty care, we need to do the same for our children. I'm so glad I decided to go with Mustela, I'm a fan for life now :)
