I normally use a Nair type hair remover on my lip line, but since they can't ship that kind of product to where I am stationed in Afghanistan, I decided to give these a try. I was skeptical when I made the purchase because I have tried other brands that were ineffective or just didn't work at all. But these work!! And the best part about them is that you get so many strips for a great price! I followed the instructions to a tee:

1) Vigorously rub the strip between your hands to warm (I also blew some warm air on them in between rubs)

2) Peel strip apart

3) Fold the halve you are not using to keep it from drying out

4) Apply strip to the area where hair removal is desired

5) Rub the strip a few times in the direction of the hair growth

6) Keep skin taut and pull strip ALONG the hair line in the opposite direction of the hair growth (not up and away)

7) Voila! The hair is gone!

Yes, it is painful, almost as painful as getting a professional wax, but for the price, you can get at least 16 salon quality waxes for less than the cost of one completed by a professional! Another great feature is that you can reuse the same strip multiple times in one session. I used two last night, but I think I could have gotten the job done with one. My only complaint is that the package doesn't come with very many post wax wipes, but I am pretty sure that is something you can order separately. The bottom line is I am so glad I found these strips. Now I can wax my lip in the privacy of my own home. Just make sure to do it in the evening so the redness subsides by morning.

I just love these! I use them for upper lip area. I had been using Parissa wax strips for a very long time, but Parissa is A LOT messier to use, it would rip off some of my skin, irritate it, & would not get all the hair. And it left behind a lot more wax that was difficult to remove. These Nair strips, go on so easy, remove the majority of hair, don't irritate my skin, & come off really clean. There needs to be more strips for the upper lip area, though. Or they should make one with ONLY upper lip strips.

I love that I found these at drugstore.com because I cannot seem to find a store locally that carries this particular one. I love that the wax strip isn't made of plastic like all others I have purchased. I feel no pain using the non-plastic strips. Pulls 99% of the areas that I use it on. Works great! Will purchase again. :)

Works nicely. Removes about 95% of hair in the area you are applying to. I have somewhat coarse hair and a syndrome that causes it to grow back quite often so these babies are my lifeline! Heres a helpful tip for those who haven't figured out how to warm the strips: Use your hair dryer on them. I do. Works wonders. And as with ANY hair removal treatment you will have to tweeze the few that get left behind. Also be sure to rub and press the strips on hard enough so they attach properly. :-)

I use this to wax both between my boyfriend's eyebrows (coarse hair) and above my lip (fine hair). It gets the job done on both fronts. Of course, you need to do a little bit of tweezer cleanup, but it's minimal. I warm these in the microwave for about 30 seconds, peel them apart and fold the unused half over on itself, lining up the wax, so I can use it later. So I'm really getting two strips out of every one. Residue does not come off of skin easily, but between the oils, witch hazel and alcohol I keep in the bathroom, I always manage to get rid of it.

Painful, which I expected when waxing. But I would have hoped that with the pain it would have gotten some hair...it didn't take off any. I have coarse hair on my lip. This would probably work better on someone with fine hair.

I also couldn't wash the residue off. I had to use one of the soothing wipes, which are a little oily, but did sooth the pain.

Was impressed by how quickly the strips warmed up and how well they worked to remove facial hair. The strips were EASY to apply, and EASY to remove. I wanted a fast, efficient product - this is it.

I got tired of using tweezers to get the hairs under my chin and on my neck, so I did some research and found this product online. It worked wonderfully. All the little hard to see and get hairs on my chin and neck are gone. It was easy to use and didn't hurt at all. I was pleasantly surprised about how quick, easy, and user-friendly the product was. I just rubbed the strip between my palms to "heat" the wax and then applied it to my face. There was no redness or pain after use. The only thing that I did not like was the overly minty spell and greasiness of the "Soothing Post Wipe". If it was less greasy and lemon-scented, then I would have no complaints. I will continue to use this product in the future.

I love this product. It hurts, as does all waxing, but so worth it. Its so easy to use, no mess or heating at all. YOu use the warmth of your hands to 'heat' it. It easily washes off the very little residue it leaves behind. Going to definitely buy again. YAY!!
