Patch test before use by applying the product to a small part of the area where hair is to be removed, follow directions and wait 24 hours. If skin appears normal, proceed. Never reapply wax on same area within a 24 hour period. As with any wax treatment, some discomfort may be experienced. This can be reduced by removing the cloth strip quickly from taut skin. Your skin may turn a little red dot a short while after the treatment. This is normal and will soon disappear. If the skin to be treated is not held taut, and the cloth strip is not zipped or pulled back very fast and close to the skin, then a pinching effect may be felt, a wax residue will remain on the skin or worse, skin could be removed resulting in injury. Read the directions carefully; proceed at all times with caution. Do not use in conventional or toaster oven. Microwaves vary in power output. Heating guidelines are an indication only. Take extreme caution when warming the wax not to overheat. Never leave the heated wax unattended. Remember the tub containing the wax will also become hot. Therefore, we recommend placing the tub on a microwavable plate. Remember to use caution when handling. Testing or applying the wax it is too hot could cause serious injury.
Do not use product in the area of the eye. Wax should not be used by people suffering from diabetes or circulatory problems or on areas with varicose veins, moles or warts. Do not wax inside nose or ears, on nipples, perianal, vaginal/genital areas or eyelashes. Do not use on irritated, inflamed or broken skin. Not suitable for people with extra sensitive or problem skin. Not recommended for the elderly or people with loose skin. Do not apply wax over sunburned, chapped, broken or sore skin, cuts, weak scars or hours after underarm hair removal. Do not ingest. Failure to follow these warnings may result in severe skin irritation, skin removal, burns or other injury.

Sugar-based strip wax is far easier and pleasanter to use, as well as more effective at removing hair, than the resin-based alternative (which I find hurts to use, unlike the sugar wax). I have also found that the Nair sugar wax formulation is a lot more effective than Nads', which has less hair-gripping ability.
However, some time ago Nair replaced its cotton waxing strips with paper- or fiber-based strips. These are inferior to the cloth ones -- if you have never used the latter I would definitely recommend cutting up an old cotton bed sheet or similar to make your own. Cloth strips mould much better to the contours of the body, are stronger, and are also reusable.
A couple of tips: Waxing works best, and hurts less, if you first trim with scissors or a hair trimmer any hair that is longer than about half an inch. I would also suggest applying disinfectant to newly waxed skin to minimize the likelihood of bacterial inflammation in the disturbed hair follicles.

I didn't like this product at all...I generally love Nair products,I have used them for years.... but not this. This product is really meant only for people with fine hair. It does do a good job of removing hair from the face, but that's about it. The hair on my legs, tends to be a little courser, so it doesn't provide enough strength to remove all the hair. I don't think I would buy a sugar-based wax product again. I still hope Nair continues making its old product.
I love that this is a sugar wax, so it washes off with water and you don't have to wipe it off with a little mixture they provide that doesn't even work that well. You can even wash off the strips and reuse them! And it does a great job getting off the majority of the hair.
Best thing about the product is good smell, lasts for more than a week, reasonable price.Drugstore providses this product for lesser price than any other store that I know.Cleaning is easy just wash off with water.I Use it twice for legs and hands. No pain if you put AC on.Definately better than spending $30-$40 in salon.
Cons: It takes atlest 15 sec to heat to apply else if you heat for short time it becomes thick and application becomes difficult. Requires more paper strips than provided.
This is garbage, the worst wax i have ever used. It is water based and the wax doesnt harden so the strips have nothing to attach to and it pulls your skin and only removed 6 hairs in a 6in X 3in area. i have been waxing for years, and never used anything made this poor.
I used to use Sally Hansen's sugar wax, but can't find it anymore. This is a very similar product, though it doesn't smell quite as nice. (More of an artificial peach scent. It's okay, though.)
The people complaining about it not removing their hair most likely don't realize you cannot wax stubble -- the hair needs to be about 1/4 inch in order for any wax to grip it properly. You also need to spread it thinly. Too think a layer will not allow the cloth strips to attach to the hair.
That said, I was very pleased with this wax. I took off a star because I don't like the straight wooden applicator -- Sally Hansen provided a curved plastic one that was far easier to use. I also don't love the scent. But, again, it's not unpleasant -- just not very natural-smelling.
THIS IS AN EASY AND CONVENIENT PRODUCT TO USE. WAX AT ANY TIME FOR MINIMAL COST. THE RESULT IS ALWAYS EXCELLENT. WAX WASHES OFF EASILY IF YOU GET MESSY, WITH TIME IT BECOMES SIMPLE TO DO YOURSELF. IT MAY BE EASIER TO GO TO THE SALON, BUT WHEN THERE'S NOT TIME, THIS WORKS BETTER THAN ANY HOME WAXES I'VE TRIED.
First time I ever did waxing, was a little nervous about how much it would hurt, but it was pretty painless. Biggest recommendation is to make sure you put a really thin layer on, and leave for a few seconds, directions say to do immediately, but I found if you wait the few seconds, it works better.
Legs felt great afterwards, no redness. It smells really good.
Strips are reuseable, they wash off easily with warm water.
Also tried the roll on one and like this one alot better.
Service and delivery comments:
Drugstore.com is great. Their prices are great and delivery is really quick!
Love this product, but can not always find it. Easy to use, additional wax washes of easily. I hope Nair continues to make this product. I can only find it on line!!
I used this on my legs and under-arms. I still pay my favourite salon to do my bikini wax, as I just don't do that as well on myself as the salon can do it. I strongly recommend this product for legs and under-arms. It really got all of the hair off, and my skin was actually silky smooth after using this. I agree that the paper strips aren't as nice as cloth, but they do still work. Since I do not have a microwave, I use this formula without a microwave oven. I just run the water from the tap until it is the hottest it can get, and then place the jar in a small bucket of the water (water-line below the seam of the jar!) and let it heat for a minute or two. I think part of the reason that this sugar formula works so well is that after it is spread on the skin and attached to the hair, it hardens a bit, and doesn't stick to the skin the way that non-sugar mixtures do. I have no complaints about this product. It works, and is affordable.
