Comments about Nair Spa Clay Face Trio, .8 oz:

I had given up on depilatory creams after Sally Hansen products gave me more than one bad chemical burn on my upper lip (and somehow still left the hair behind) in college. Now in my mid-30s, I noticed that my upper lip hair is more pronounced and bleach just wasn't cutting it. I decided to give this product a try because it comes packaged with a protective prep balm and is $15 cheaper than a similar big-name product. I am blown away and a complete convert -- it removed all hair after only 7 mins, and did not irritate my upper lip other than some mild redness/temporary tenderness. A few notes: (1) my skin isn't generally sensitive, just had bad reactions to depilatory creams, so I'm not sure how this would work on those with truly reactive skin; (2) I use both retinoids and benzoyl peroxide lotions for wrinkles / mild acne and this product did not cause any adverse interactions; (3) I have a light olive complexion and the product caused some slight bleaching of my skin -- not very noticeable without makeup and disappears with my normal foundation / corrector routine (but I would test a small area before using on darker skin); (4) I have very fine upper lip hair that had been bleached about 2 weeks earlier.

Comments about Nair Spa Clay Face Trio, .8 oz:

This product is close to perfect! I have SUPER sensitive skin and I use it weekly (give or take a few days), and it works perfectly as long as I don't exceed 10 minutes...otherwise it begins to burn. Definitely do not use every day otherwise your skin will become EXTREMELY irritated...or even every other day. It needs to applied thickly, no skin should show through, otherwise it doesn't work as effectively.
This is the only hair removal product that doesn't give me an AWFUL rash on my upper lip. I've tried almost everything and this is the only product that doesn't irritate my skin.

OK Did step one. Did step two, Because of step one, I don't think step two worked, cause it sure didn't remove any of my eyebrow hair and I left it on for the longest time.
Way too expensive for this product as well.

Comments about Nair Spa Clay Face Trio, .8 oz:

I've been using the spa hair removal cream for a while now, and I really like it! It works well for me, the scent is pretty good for hair remover, and I never had problems with burning or redness using the hair remover on its own.
Now the only way I can get this product is to pay more for the kit which contains products I don't want.
So, 5 stars for the hair remover, minus 1 star for the extra cost, and minus 1 star for the waste of products I don't want. I'll keep buying this until I find a suitable replacement for the hair remover, then I'm done.

Comments about Nair Spa Clay Face Trio, .8 oz:

I was really nervous to use this product. I read so many reviews that were not favorable. Lots of complaints on burning the skin, blisters that lasted for days. I figured since I use retinol products that maybe my upper lip wasn't that sensitive since I can tolerate those products.

This worked for me and it was easy. This is the first time I've used any kind of hair removal product on my face. I usually pluck. I'm glad I tried this and now will continue to use it. I followed the directions exactly. First put on the pre-treatment then the removal cream. Set the timer for 7 minutes. I didn't feel anything until around minute 4 and it was just a slight tingling/stinging. Very minor. When the 7 minutes were up, I wiped it off with a warm washcloth. Removed all the hair! Followed with the moisturizer and done. Definitely will continue to use as long as my skin tolerates it.
