When using this product

The directions say that this a product to prevent allergies. BUT I am one of those people that get those awful sneezing attacks, and this is the only thing that stops them. I keep it in my purse, so I never worry if I am exposed to pets or perfume. Try it! Also is very safe for long term use. Be sure to get the whole inside of your nose coated, ie, put one spray more towards the front, one towards the back, sometimes I do a third spray if necessary.

I purchased Nasalcrom based on the reviews that were written on the website and was excited to try the product as I have severe allergies specifically swollen sinuses that even affect my sleep. I was looking for a long term relief product so that I don't have to live on these nose sprays that you can only use for three days. Unfortunately this product did absolutely nothing for me and was completely ineffective although honestly I have found very few products that actually work for me.
I have severe allergies to pollen and strongly scented products. For me an allergic reaction means high fever, infected ears, nasal congestion, runny nose, runny eyes, croupy cough, chest congestion. Nothing worked so I suffered every spring and fall and any time I was around strongly scented products. A friend recommended Nasal Crom and I've used it ever since! My last allergy attack was the one I had at the time my friend recommended Nasal Crom! I've had nearly 12 years with no allergic reactions. I also discovered that if I used Nasal Crom as soon as I noticed any of the early signs of a reaction, it stopped the symptoms immediately! I have recommended this to anyone I meet who suffers from allergies. There have been times when I gave them one of the three bottles I keep on hand. There are no known drug interactions and is safe for children as young as two years old.
Used in conjunction with Allegra (now happily also OTC) it works almost as well as the prescription inhaler, which my doctor discontinued for me. And, during the periods April - June and September - November I REALLY need it!
I typically take an oral anti-histamine (i.e. zyrtec, claritin, or allegra) & sudafed to manage my severe tree pollen allergies. But this time around I couldn't take the usual meds, since I am nursing my infant. Both antihistamines & sudafed both can dramatically decrease milk supply. I didn't have many options, but nasalcrom was shown to be the safest. I was a little skeptical, since my allergies are so bad in the spring, but was extremely happy to find out that this med works great. No need for an oral drug! Only complaint that I have is that it's hard to remember to use it every 4 hours. I have to set an alarm to remind myself. Great drug! I heard rumors the manufacturer may discontinue it. I hope not!
I use Nasalcrom often and never want to be without it. There are no side effects and it is a wonderful product that I would recommend to others with allergies.
I developed allergies over 20 years ago and was looking in [@] for anything for allergy relief. This was packaged with some tablets and although the tablets didn't work, the NasalCrom sure did and I have been using it ever since. Just one or two pumps in each nostril dries me up in less than ten minutes. It doesn't make you sleepy and there are no addictive effects. I usually buy it in multiples because I'm so afraid they will stop making it.
I have multiple allergies with symptoms year around. NasalCrom is the only product that helps me avoid sever sinus congestion that leads to sinus infection. During my worst allergy symptoms, I add guaifenesin (Musinex etc.) and vitamin C to keep my sinuses clear. For me, it takes about 2 doses to notice an improvement.
