After opening the packaging, you should wash NasiVent with normal soap.
Then choose the size that best fits your nose.
Then you can shorten the length by cutting off a small piece. Be careful do not cut too short. Do not shorten the hair in your nose.

My husband and I both snore and unfortunately sleep in separate rooms. This presents a problem with accommodation when we travel as we need to book a 2 bedroom apartment. A friend recommended that we try Nasivent which we both purchased before our recent 1 month vacation in Australia. I was a little apprehensive about the comfort of the device but found that we were able to sleep peacefully together again, and comfort was not an issue.
my husband claims I snore less and not as loud. Sometimes he claims I don't snore. They are much easier to use and more comfortable than the Brez ones. Glad to reuse them....I wash them in the morning with a mild hand soap rinse well and dry thoroughly.
Had to work with it for awhile, but after I made the adjustments to fit, it works great & right away. Simple idea & it seemed like a lot of money, but worth it! I know I sleep better. When I stay with my kids they don't hassle me anymore about snoring.
I have been using the Nasivent Tube for about a year. A friend recommended it to me so I thought I'd give it a try. After a year I'm a real believer. I do get it that I have to be able to breathe through my nose and sleep on my side to stop the snoring. Would recommend to anyone with a snoring problem.

this is simple and effective. it really works to stop snoring and open up nasal passages. good deep sleep for everyone in the room. just wish my yellow lab could use it! this appliance delivers as promoted.
This product works! It did take me a little while to get used to it. I would suggest that you read the instructions to make sure that it feels comfortable. It has made a big difference for my partner, and I know that I sleep better too. I now sleep on my side, as my nostrils stay open through the night and I am able to breathe through my nose.
I purchased this product becasue my husband complained my snoring was getting really bad. I think my age (41) and my weight (about 30 lbs too much) are both factors. Since there are four different sizes of this product in the package, I was able to find a size that fit fairly comfortably in my nostrils, although I did have to trim off a tiny bit of the length. I could feel my nasal passages opening a bit more with the NasiVent in place. I have one nostril that has less air flow than the other and it didn't open completely, but better than it was. I would say I have cut out the mouth-open kind of snoring that I was doing because I couldn't breathe through my nose; however, I do still have a nasal snore, with my mouth closed. I did not even know this was possible, but I have caught myself doing it just as I'm hitting deep sleep and it wakes me up. This product won't fix that, but I think it does open the nasal passages and it also mentally make me more aware to breathe through my nose and not my mouth even while I'm asleep. For me, it made an improvement, but was not a cure-all.
This is my 2nd Nasivent. My first one lasted an entire year. My partner loves that fact that we can sleep together again for an entire night (she is a very light sleeper). I was a little skeptical about any product that can cure snoring, but not anymore--this product works! My wife and I had gotten used to waking up in separate beds as I would leave when awakened by her snoring. It's comfortable, high quality and fits well. In fact, we both use them. With 4 sizes in a package, one fits me and the smaller one works for my wife. Now we're both happy and sleeping well--together. I have begun using the Nasivent in combination with Mac's silicone earplugs and the combination has greatly improved my sleep.
