After having horrible allergic reactions to both Always and Kotex pads, I switched to Natracare. They're not perfect, but if you have had similar problems with the major brands they're awesome! Pros: Super soft and comfortable. No allergic reactions. Eco-friendly. Cons: Tend to bunch up. Thicker than the major brands but less absorbent. Because they're more delicate they need to be changed more frequently. I've found that 20 pads per package is less than 1 months supply.

These pads work just fine, whether you use them in conjunction with tampons or on their own. If you use them on their own, you have to change them frequently, because they tend to scrunch up when they get moist. I am not sure about the whole slender thing, they are OK as far as width, they are no thinner than the regular size and are actually longer. The Slender pads work best throughout my period. The Natracare Regular, Super and panty-liners don't work as well as the Slender. I cannot go without these, but I do wish they had wings. Especially when exercising, one needs breathability to prevent vagina infections. Plastic traps moisture; cotton is breathable.

Amazing product that I've been using for 5 years. Nothing compares, especially Seventh Generation. These are great for women with sensitive skin reactions and this size is very discrete and comfortable.

I have tried these on several occasions, and each time, they completely fell apart in less than an hour. I had to throw the rest away. Also, the term slender is not quite accurate, as they are quite bulky. I want to use natural products, but I have tried other products from this line and they are all terrible.

I was excited to try these, but was disappointed. The pads are simply a rectangular piece of cotton without any curvature to fit your body or any sort of quilting or channels. I found that fluid would leak all over the place rather than being trapped centrally. Quite a shame, considering the benefits of a natural pad. I'll probably stick with Kotex, just so I can feel confident that I won't have another accident!

These are the only pads I'll use: they don't irritate my skin and aren't made with plastic and chemicals (bleaches and deodorant). The previous reviewer said they fell apart but that's not true: they aren't tough in the way that a plastic-y pad would be, but they absorb well and are very comfortable. Great for those with sensitive skin.
