I'm an extremely allergic person with severe skin problems and these are the only pads for me. I've now tried the expensive cotton Lunapads alternative, but unless you are not squeemish and have hours-a-day to spend on cleaning them ( think they forgot women work and not in places with private sinks for each and every one of us), this is what I'd recommend to any person with sensitive skin issues. Wishing they were longer is my only desire.

My daughter will not wear these because she feels they are too leaky. She is small at 5'2" and 120lbs. I have tried all the natural brands and she does not like any of them.

I cannot describe how soft (I'm talking incredibly soft), these pads are! Oh, and the way the feel against the skin--heaven! I'm so happy we live in a time where these and other natural, organic feminine care options are available. It's easy for newbies to flinch at the pricier tag, but believe me, once you've tried them, you won't think twice. Not to mention these are better for you AND the environment. One thing, though: these don't have wings and tended to bunch on the sides (could be because I'm full-figured), so these are probably best on a lighter flow day, or around the home. Other than that, they are perfect!

I would highly recommend this product because of its comfort and absorbency. It adhered well, moved right along with me, and gave me a secure feeling. I honestly had no idea that 100% certified organic cotton could feel so good. And the best part is that with no chemicals and fragrances, these pads are good for us and good for the environment, too!

I'm giving this only an average because while it's the best product for me at this time, I think a lot of women will not agree. The benefits for me are that these are extremely non-irritating pads and I'll put up with a lot to have something that doesn't irritate me physically. However, sleeping on these, if you toss and turn, can be a nightmare; the lack of wings and the comparitive weakness of the cotton membrane holding the pad together cause it to fray at the front and back and bunch up in the middle - not enough in my case to leak, but enough to make me worry a bit. And yes, these are even thicker than the 'average' flow of the same brand. At night this isn't a concern, but during the day it's a different story. But if tampons are too dry and plastic pads are too irritating, these might at least let you sleep in comfort.
