I take one every morning before eating,and they are working fine. I was taking another product that was working, then they called themselves improving, but added milk and that did not work well with me, so I found this one , been taking 30 days and it is great.

I have IBS (among other things) and my meds for it cause constipation of all things. My doctor gave me a sample of these lactic acid flakes that needed to be refrigerated and were close to $160 a month, you took them with milk, they didn't taste very good, and they didn't even work very well. So I started to look for something else...

BioBeads were the best I found and I tried a lot and went through a lot of pain before I found them! I use two a day, one in the morning and one at night. I cleared this with my doctor, as one was not enough for me with the meds I am on. He had not seen Biobeads but after looking at the ingredients he said they were good, and wrote them down to help other people. 2 -90 count boxes gets me through 3 months for close to $40 compare that to the sample my doctor gave me, and it is a bargain. It's easy to take, IT WORKS, and it doesn't cause me gas, which some of the other ones I tried did.

Even though no refrigeration is needed the package says store in a cool dry place, and I have noticed that if they get hot, like in the summer they, at best discolor, at worse leak! If they are discolored I will still take them and the only thing I have noticed is they don't work as well. If they leak I won't take them, and I wonder if some of the people that have had problems with them have had them leak and, being first time buyers, didn't know not to take them. (when they leak they become a little powdery or a lot powdery depending on how bad they leak) Thankfully this is rare and I try to order enough to get me though the hot months as this tends to happen in shipping. Although if your house is hot you may want to try long term storage in the fridge and bring out a week at a time, I have had them turn darker when it has hit 100 here.

I have Ulcerative Colitis. Since starting Bio Beads, I have gone into full remission. I no longer take ANY medication. I attribute my improved digestive health to the use of this product. Every person is different, but this product has worked for me. If you have Crohn's Disease or Ulcerative Colitis, I recommended you discuss any changes to your routine with your physician.

This coated pill digests slowly and opens up where needed in your intestines. If you have Ulcerative Colitis this is a pill you should take every day. It is the only pill that works for me. I take 5 a day and it works! Really! I started taking 1 a day and slowly increased until I got my best results.

I have investigated several brands of probiotics. I found out that there are thousands of different strains of good bacteria and each one has a different effect on the body. I have had IBS with constipation for years. Supplementing with fiber gave some relief but never really satisfied with results. I started probiotics last August 2010. I was impressed with the first name brand I purchased. Then, in Jan 2011 I came across Natrol Intensive Maximum Care Probiotics. They were stronger and more expensive but I liked them better. Then everyone online stopped selling them. I was impressed with the Natrol product so I decided to try another probiotic manufactured by this company - BioBeads. I love these even more. They only have 4 strains in it but it is the four strains recommended for people with IBS. I hope this product stays on the market. I bought enough for 6 months. Love it, love it, love it. Highly recommend if you have IBS.

I've tried a couple of other brands and didn't notice any benefit. But when I was recently put on heavy duty antibiotics for a month, I was very concerned about getting the serious complications that can come from that (permanent bowel problems). I took these throughout the month and I did not have any problems or develop a yeast infection. They also eliminated a chronic problem I've had for years with gas and bowel/digestion problems. They are not a miracle, but very good. If you eat alot of carbs and sweets, I highly recommend to prevent candida. Just keep everything moving and the internal bugs down. They have over 2 billion "good bugs", which make them higher quality than most. NO REFRIGERATION NEEDED either. Yea! And super easy to swallow--they are very tiny. But best to shop around though, to save half elsewhere online
