I have not had any problems adjusting. I did find that it helps to take a 300 mcg along with the 3 mg Time Release to get the best results. The 300 mcg helps you start sleeping then the 3 mg Time Release will stay with you about 6-7 hours. I do not take this product on my days off unless I feel I will have trouble sleeping. It seems to increase the amount of dreams, which says to me that I am sleeping better. VS Most Liked Negative Review Did not work for me If I could, I would give it a 0 star. I got this due to great reviews, unfortunately, it did not work for me. I have been having alot of trouble getting to sleep, and also waking up at night, disturbing my rest for work the next day. Decided to try this product out, it was horrible. Not only did I not feel sleepy, I still get up in the middle of the night and have trouble getting back to sleep, and worst still, I got a very bad bout of headache spells the next morning. I have never felt that kind of pain in my head ever in my life before. I decided to try it again the next night, same thing happened. I am throwing this into the bin and will try another Sleep Aid product. REVIEWS Reviewed by 29 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 1-10 Previous | Next » Pros

Comments about Natrol Melatonin Timed Release, 3mg. Tablets, 100 ea: I've been using Melatonin for many years. The regular and Timed Release versions are both helpful to relax me and gently bring on enough drowsiness to allow me to sleep. I honestly don't know which type of Melatonin works better. However, it is effective for only a couple of hours and then I awaken. When it was available in the 80's, I found L-Tryptophan to be more effective, especially in large doses. I intend to try Alteril, which contains both, plus Valerian Root. In the meantime I am a loyal Melatonin consumer. Pros

Comments about Natrol Melatonin Timed Release, 3mg. Tablets, 100 ea: For the past year or so, I've been waking up during the night (mostly to go to the bathroom) and usually unable to get back to sleep, sometimes for several hours. I tried regular melatonin but it didn't help. I've been taking this time released melatonin for about 6 weeks now, and I've been able to get back to sleep every night, usually within minutes. This is a great product and I expect to continue taking it every night for the foreseeable future. Pros

Comments about Natrol Melatonin Timed Release, 3mg. Tablets, 100 ea: Use one tablet at bedtime. With the time release it seems to help me stay asleep better and when I do wake up I can get back to sleep easier. Not always does it help a lot, but it's sure better than taking prescription, addictive pills. Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Natrol Melatonin Timed Release, 3mg. Tablets, 100 ea: I use this product along with liquid melatonin to help me fall asleep quickly. I'm sensitive to most sleep aids, feeling dizzy as I'm dropping off to sleep, and feeling hung over in the morning. The time-release melatonin keeps me asleep, helps me sleep more deeply with no dizziness, and I don't feel it at all in the morning - in fact, waking is easier because I've slept better. This product, along with the liquid melatonin, has been a lifesaver for me. Pros

Comments about Natrol Melatonin Timed Release, 3mg. Tablets, 100 ea: My 18 yr-old-daughter was having some sleeping problems. We preferred not taking the regular over-the-counter sleep aids and opted to try melatonin. She really likes this brand and the fact that this is an extended release. Her rest has been deeper and she seems more refreshed. ![]() |
