The first week that I used it I noticed a distinct fishy aftertaste after taking it, but as days went by, it wasn't so fishy anymore. Guess I had to get used to it, but I immediately noticed a significant loss of appetite, which I was in dire need for. Maybe I got an exceptionally fishy batch, but I don't know how I am going to finish this bottle. I'm glad I only bought one, and not two! I guess this is what I get for being cheap! I like this also because it's slightly smaller then the fish oil tablet i took from naturemade. definetly easier to swallow. Doesn't matter if I take it with meals, before a meal, after a meal, or between meals or at bedtime, there is never a fishy aftertaste. It's great. I have been taking Omega 3 fish oil capsules for several years, but always hated burping up that fishy taste, so sometimes I just wouldn't take them. Now I never miss a dose, and I know I'm doing something good for my heart and overall health, and it's so easy!
