The first week that I used it I noticed a distinct fishy aftertaste after taking it, but as days went by, it wasn't so fishy anymore. Guess I had to get used to it, but I immediately noticed a significant loss of appetite, which I was in dire need for. It does curb your appetite, so if you don't need to lose weight, I wouldn't use it. Other than that, I do feel better after 2 -3 weeks of taking it. VS Most Liked Negative Review Fish Taste! YUCK! About an hour after taking these (even with food), I started burping up lemon, then shortly after... FISH! I guess this is fine for someone who loves fish, but this is pretty offensive to me. Maybe I got an exceptionally fishy batch, but I don't know how I am going to finish this bottle. I'm glad I only bought one, and not two! I guess this is what I get for being cheap! Cons Best Uses Comments about Natrol Omega-3 Fish Oil, 1000 mg, Softgels, 150 ea: Coming from a country where we eat countless varieties of fish (most of it oil-rich) and seafood, moving to Iowa was a huge change on our diet. Great meat but terrible fish options. Pros Cons

Comments about Natrol Omega-3 Fish Oil, 1000 mg, Softgels, 150 ea: This product is so much cheaper than the GNC brand that I was concerned about fishy burps. I have never had a single one. There are only 300mg of DHA and EPA but at this price you can just take more than one. I'm extremely pleased with this product and will buy it again. Pros

Comments about Natrol Omega-3 Fish Oil, 1000 mg, Softgels, 150 ea: It's fishy if you linger on it, lemony if you swallow it straight up. No fish burps, but I take it right before bed as supplements tend to bother my stomach. Pros

Comments about Natrol Omega-3 Fish Oil, 1000 mg, Softgels, 150 ea: Love this product! Doesn't matter if I take it with meals, before a meal, after a meal, or between meals or at bedtime, there is never a fishy aftertaste. It's great. I have been taking Omega 3 fish oil capsules for several years, but always hated burping up that fishy taste, so sometimes I just wouldn't take them. Now I never miss a dose, and I know I'm doing something good for my heart and overall health, and it's so easy! ![]() |
