I take this the recommended 3 times a day, when I wake up (45 mins before I hit the gym), lunch, and dinner time. I have never taken this before, but I can feel and see my stomach fat leaving. I read in a bodybuilding forum that yohimbe is used to get all the little tiny blood vessels full. The stomach area is hard to lose fat, because it has very poor circulation, all the blood is in the organs, and on the inside of the body, not flowing through all the fat cells, but this will push it to all areas. I don't know anything about all the medical stuff, but I know that it is making a difference on my body.

I want to clear up the other posts and negative reviews. This is a BARK powder pill . That is would mean its a less potent yohimbe item. If you want the stronger stuff you need to look at the ingredients and find the yohimbine alkaloids 8% for a max effect.

As with most supplements the process is important with its potent rating, so do your homework on products before rating because of nutrition ignorance.

I took the product more out of curiosity than any expectation of a viagra-like medication as some of those bad reviewers seem to hope for (unfortunately, only Viagra & Cialis, etc. work as well as Viagra, Cialis, etc. and that is why they require an Rx). Anyway, I have diagnosed shift-work sleepiness due to sleep apnea (i.e. I don't get restful sleep at night), and am prescribed 250mg Nuvigil a day, plus drink several cups of coffee a day to stay alert and not drowsy at work. Taking 1 Yohimbe tablet was too much on top of my medication & caffiene. I did not notice any aphrodisiac effects, but after 15-20 minutes of taking 1 tablet, my heart was racing and my hands were VERY shaky, and although unpleasant, I checked my blood pressure out of curiosity and it was normal. I was able to gain and maintain an erection, but I cannot say that it was any more or less than would be from a placebo effect (although the racing pulse & shaky hands were NOT). Perhaps, as some say, after several weeks of taking regularly, there are sexual benefits, but for me, using on an as-needed basis would be pointless. Luckily it only lasts a couple of hours, but PLEASE be careful if you take any kind of stimulant medication, or are a big caffiene drinker. Compared to yohimbe, I will definitely stick with my Cialis prescription, and would recommend to any male who wishes improved erections to just ask their doctor for some Cialis or Viagra, and they will gladly oblige. Most doctors are as uncomfortable talking about this as the patients are, and have samples for you to try. My wife works at a doctor's office and got me some Cialis samples, and so the next doctor visit, at least for me, the conversation went like: "Before I go, I was also wondering if you could write me a prescription for Cialis? My wife brought me some samples to try and it really helps. (Dr. Reply:" Sure, what strength do you want? 5, 10, or 20mg?") Me: "I think the samples are 20, but I only need half, so 10mg will be fine." And that was it. He is not going to make you go into all the uncomfortable details of why you are asking for the medication. But as for Yohimbe, I can't say that it works for me on an as-needed basis, and due to the bad interactions with my other meds, I am not going to try any long-term usage... and besides, why take some strange medicine EVERY DAY for a small benefit that you can get from some strange medicine only WHEN NEEDED? I could not imagine the nasty speediness if I had taken 2 or 3 of these as some have suggested. SERIOUSLY, ONLY TAKE 1 UNTIL YOU SEE HOW IT AFFECTS YOU, YOU WILL KNOW WITHIN 30 MINUTES.

I've tried Natrol products several times over the years and while I'm not a chemist and I can't tell you exactly what is in their products, what I can tell you is if it does have the advertised ingredient, in this case Yohimbe, it is of such a low quality that it has NO effect on your system whatsoever. The reason I've usually had for trying their products is because of a good price being offered. The saying that you get what you pay for is very true and when it comes to Natrol products what you get is nothing. Don't waste your money.

As a 50 year old man, I started using this this product to get a little extra punch. I use this in combination with L-Arginine, which increases blood flow. I find it works best taken 2 hours before activity (because Yohimbe has a short half-life of 1 - 2 hours.) Start with a low dose until you find out how if affects your blood pressure and heart beat because too much can make your heart race. It will definitely increase libido and sensation and stamina. Good product!

Interesting stuff. I'm writing to counteract the 1-star, which I think drags down the other 2 out of 3 existing reviews. I was prepared to be disillusioned when I ordered. I was pleasantly surprised as a 50-year old, therefore, that after about two weeks of consuming the product as directed, 3Xday, erections arose unexpectedly (cool!) and upon examination, a little more ferociously than before -- not once, but consistently. Count me in as a believer in some sort of transformation based on Yohimbe. Exceeded expectations (and I'm a difficult one to convince -- about anything).

Good stuff...been using it for a few years now. Best thing about it is that you can have a 'session', pop 2 capsules, and you're ready to go 2-3 hours later. Have fun.

I have used the GNC tablets and they are very powerful. I usually take 1/2 tablet at a time because they are so strong. This stuff, however, even at a triple dose has NO AFFECT, NONE, NADA. It is a placebo, nothing more. You would be better off taking sawdust than this. Do not buy this particular product. It is VERY WEAK.
