I usually enjoy fragrant toiletries. I purchased this because I thought tht the "natural formula" would be soothing. Let's start with the smell, peeyoo! The stuff stinks. It smells like rancid Castille soap and rotted gargage. To make things worse it was irritating to my skin. If you want something very fragrant in a nice way and soothing purchase Pre de Provence, it's far more pricey but worth it.

this stuff is amazing! I have been with my fiance for 4.5 years now and during that time he has always had large red bumps all over his neck. He would hardly ever shave because it would hurt so bad (he has sensitive skin). honestly after the very first use of this the red bumps are almost completely gone! wow wow wow. I also think it smells great - so does my fiance.

This really does not have any stronger of a scent than other unscented lotions I have tried; I am amazed that people are complaining about this. What very minimal trace of a scent (sort of smells like cucumber) there is fades after a couple of minutes anyway so this is a complete non-point as far as a review is concerned. It does spread on somewhat thick but absorbs well and is not heavy or greasy, which is the most important factor to consider with any lotion, and this one meets that expectation. Much, much cheaper than and performs on par with very expensive aftershaves, and believe me, I have tried them all. This one is great just like a lot of the other Herban products.

Its just okay - was excited to try as organic but is too thick and does not spread easily or quickly. Forms a thick layer and needs massaging well to spread else looks white all over.

For some reason 3.4 oz feels beeter and different from 6.7 but I can't find any difference so far but size

The scent may not be for everyone however, i don't think it's unpleasant-it's very masculine. The consistency and texture are great. I look for after shaves that dry and absorb quickly on the face after applying so they don't get over all my shirts when i'm dressing post-shower. This one is does exactly that and moisturizes pretty well too. Even after the roughest of shaves, your face will feel great after you put this on. My only concern is under ingredients, "fragrance" is listed. I hope it is all essential oils and nothing artificial or synthetic!.
