I've used it daily for over 40 years and I've never found anything else to be even close in terms of effectiveness. It moistens, protects, and heals. I even use it occassionally on other skin irritations and sores (eg chapped knuckles, small scabs). I've taken this as a gift to people in the hospital who really appreciate its healing and moisturizing effect. I've brought this to friends in Africa who always ask for more.
