So far, I have seen minor improvement in leg cramps at night after a strenuous day of exercise. I hope that the improvement is more noticeable after I have taken this medication for a longer period of time, and I am able to increase the dosage. It is palatable and easy to use. Her tics have become severe and interfere with daily life. Doctors can only suggest various medications none of which are guaranteed to work with many side effects. She started taking this two days ago. She went out for a few hours and came back so excited because she HAD NOT had any tics all day! I wanted to cry! She has had a few tics under stress, but not anything like what was going on! The only concern would be the possible loose stool and cramps. If this occurs, I will look in to the time released capsules of magnesium. (She is 18). I want to share this info because I think parents of kids with TS don't get much help besides doctors giving meds to try that usually don't work. I am cautiously optimistic, but so far estatic!  Pros

If you have problems with regular bowel movements you really must try it! I bought an extra bottle for my sister; she has been suffering from constipation for years! Comments about Natural Vitality Natural Calm Magnesium, Powder, Organic Raspberry-Lemon, 16 oz: I was recommended to take Natural Calm -Magnesium by my pediatrician for my son's recently diagnosed motor tics. He was expressing tics every 2-5 seconds and within 1 hour of taking Natural Calm his tics reduced to about 2-5 per hour! I have switched to taking Kids Natural Calm Multi because it incorporates all of the other vitamins I give him as well. If he misses 1-2 days of a Magnesium dosage his tics return dramatically and he also becomes more "hyper". Before introducing Magnesium into his diet, I used to complain that he would "bounce off the walls", now he is definitely more calm and there is an amazing reduction in motor tics. He does need to stay away from calcium/dairy products because that does excite him. This is a fantastic product!
