I recently purchased a case of nature boy and girl diapers from drugstore.com. I had used nature baby care in the past but thought I would give this environmentally friendly (and cheaper) brand a shot.

I purchased a size medium (12-24 lbs). I couldn't believe it when I couldn't secure the diaper around the waist of my 5 month old son who is 18 lbs. There is such a tiny strip of velcro in the middle that it is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get the side tabs to secure the diaper and stay. Honestly! ... the Velcro strip only extends about an inch and a half on either side of his naval. I don't know how many times I have had to change my son because the tabs didn't hold to the minute amount of Velcro and the diaper simply opened up! We barely got through one package out of the case before we purchased different diapers.

I am completely dissatisfied with this product and feel that purchasing these diapers was a complete waste of money. I have thought about donating the diapers but I am not sure I want to pass the frustration of using them along to anyone else.

I would have given these five stars but the side tabs can be a little snug. They do well containing big messes though, and are more comfortable than the similar looking and sounding brand called Nature Baby. Those are papery and stiff but these are a softer plasticy looking material made from corn or something I think. If you leave a wet diaper on too long they start to disintegrate, which really isn't a problem because that just tells you that you left it on too long!

I think these diapers work great. They are even perfect for overnight use. I've been using them for 2 months and have not had any problems with leaks. And they are good for the planet!

I usually use cloth diapers but I bought these to use on vacation. I used these in the past when my baby was first born until he was big enough to fit the cloth and loved the newborn version of these diapers. They worked really well and rarely leaked.

Since I haven't used these in 4-5 months, I am not sure if all the diapers are different or if the newborn version is still the way it was but I hate the plastic-y feel on the outside of these and they never seemed to fit properly. My baby is just beginning to crawl and he always seemed to be wriggling out of them. They almost seemed too small even though he is only 15 pounds, so way on the bottom end of the weight allloted for this size. I am disappoointed that I took advantage of the drugstore.com sale and bought an entire case of these. I will probably try to give away what I have left and buy Seventh Generation diapers for any subsequent trips we take this sumer.

I really WANTED to like these diapers. I loved that they were natural and biodegradable (I gave them 2 stars because of this, otherwise I wouldn't have given but one or maybe even none). However, the diapers are of a very poor durability. The outside cover was very thin and tore very, very easily. There were many times when the diaper just split right down the back just from my child's normal, everyday activities. There were also multiple instances of the tabs ripping right off the diaper while I was putting them on my child. I tried going to the Nature Boy & Girl official website to voice my complaints, but at that time they did not have a functioning contact form or contact email. I think that Seventh Generation brand diapers are a much better buy as far as the fit and performance are concerned. Seventh Generation diapers perform every bit as well as the most expensive mainstream disposable diaper, without all the perfumes/chemicals. They're just not biodegradable. :(

bought these thinking they were like nature care baby but they are not. really bad leaks of all kinds and they came undone several times and they fit bad. g diapers or nature care baby are much better. [...] over priced.and very not worth it.

These diapers are great! Great improvement with the velcro closer. The only negative comment I would have to say would be, since I have been ordering the medium size diapers, some of the orders that I receive are different. I have not made a mistake, I order the exact size, size medium(12-24lbs.). The size and style of the diapers are different. The area where the velcro attaches to does not go completely across the front of the diaper, the inside of the diaper is a green color, and it runs a bit smaller. The other size medium style diaper runs a bit larger, perfect for my 19lb 4mo old, area where velcro attaches goes completely across front of diaper, and is white inside of diaper. STRANGE!

These are great diapers and now they have fixed the bad sticky tab issue I can't find much wrong with them. They aren't quite as absorbent as the regular diapers so I don't use them at night, but otherwise are terrific and - hooray - biodegradable. Help the planet by buying these please.

The diapers do sometimes leak at night and we find the tape closures are difficult to undo and tear the diaper, causing the insides to come out. Recently we started receiving the resealable velcro like ones, which are very easy to take off.
