The real cool thing about these diapers is that they are compostable. I tested in my back yard by a bush; the diaper was totally decomposed in about six months. I am looking forward to testing them in my compost pile (I did not have one before). I know that they are more expensive, but if your priority is to your child as well as mother earth, these diapers are the way to go! The whole diaper, minus the ultra thin plastic outer lining, seems to dissolve. It seems to be more durable than two years ago, and there is a new surface for the tabs to stick. The minor downside is you can't roll the diaper closed and tape it shut with its own tape, because the tape doesn't stick more than once to the plastic. Comments about Nature Boy & Girl Disposable Diapers, Small (8 - 15 lbs), 192 ea: It's nice that they're biodegradable, but I'm really not happy with their practicality. It's so hard to get them on and off and they don't seal well. (1 of 1 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? By azara from Undisclosed Comments about Nature Boy & Girl Disposable Diapers, Small (8 - 15 lbs), 192 ea: Instead of ordinary plastic, the outer layer of the Nature boy & girl diaper is based on natural materials, a breathable, GMO-free biological cornstarch-based film. We love this diaper and feel it is worth the little sizes (* our kids are skinny and wore the size small till they were potty trained at age 2.) They help to save some of our landfill problems. We support them and feel good to have less chemicals near your baby. (1 of 1 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? By Tiffany from Healdsburg, CA Comments about Nature Boy & Girl Disposable Diapers, Small (8 - 15 lbs), 192 ea: I used these diapers through my daughters entire diapering years. I will be using them for my second child as well. We composted them with our compost toilet and they composted just great. They are very absorbent and my daughter never got a diaper rash. I would highly recommend these diapers if you are going to use disposables. They are earth, baby and parent friendly. (1 of 1 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? By Diane from Undisclosed Comments about Nature Boy & Girl Disposable Diapers, Small (8 - 15 lbs), 192 ea: I ordered the small size (8-15 lbs) in these diapers. They are as small as the Huggies newborn size. I thought this would be okay, but my son was almost 12 pounds when he was born and we did not get through a whole case! These diapers are absorbent, but the tabs are so sticky that the fluff would come out when trying to take them off if the diaper is full. Sometimes, they would stick to my baby's skin like a bad band-aid. You really only have one shot at putting them on because of the sticky tabs. It seems that they are not very breathable as there is a layer of plastic-like covering on the outside, so are not good for warm/hot weather. Overall, I do not recommend these diapers. Comments about Nature Boy & Girl Disposable Diapers, Small (8 - 15 lbs), 192 ea: These diapers are great. I have to say I like the tape vs. the velcro, we have a hard time getting the velcro on tight enough before our baby starts peeing all over. They are small, which we thought was nice since most other diapers huge and really hard to get on without covering the cord. (1 of 1 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? By Anonymous from Undisclosed Comments about Nature Boy & Girl Disposable Diapers, Small (8 - 15 lbs), 192 ea: Disappointed. We had high hopes for these diapers, but they feel cheap, look cheap, and are impossible to get off our son without taking scissors to them. Comments about Nature Boy & Girl Disposable Diapers, Small (8 - 15 lbs), 192 ea: I like the idea of these diapers, because they are compostable. My baby generally wears cloth, but I have learned that to go out it is MUCH easier to have disposables. So, I bought these because they were overall the best eco-friendly disposable on the market. My complaint is similar to the one above...my baby boy is 12 lbs, and these diapers are too small on him. We are vegans, eat organic, and he is on breastmilk only-so he isn't an oversized baby. These diapers are just VERY small! So, I have had to put the extra packages into storage for any future bambinos. We did have a couple of blowouts, but not because the diaper couldn't handle the "load", it was because it was too narrow on his hips. I have also experienced the same problem with the sticky tabs. I wish it had the velcro style that Seventh generation has. These tabs will not stick if you have any moisture on your fingers come into contact with them. Comments about Nature Boy & Girl Disposable Diapers, Small (8 - 15 lbs), 192 ea: These diapers are FANTASTIC, but I do have 2 complaints. My first is that they run a little small. They are supposed to fit babies 8-15 lbs., but my chunky little 12.5 lb. baby (9 weeks old) has already outgrown them. They cut into her legs and so, unfortunately, we have 2 unopened packages that we cannot use. The second is that they are very stiff and have sticky tabs instead of velcro, which makes it hard to refasten, and the tabs always stick to her legs when I'm changing her. These diapers took me a little while to get used to but, once I did, I really liked them. Never once did they leak. Huggies and Pampers can't hold nearly as much as these can. Before we switched to Nature Boy and Girl diapers, we had many a blowout that required not only a diaper change, but an outfit change as well. I think these diapers are awesome, but am bummed that she outgrew them so fast. (1 of 1 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful?
