I really like the fact that this supplement has added Vitamin D, which helps to absorb the calcium. I am not sure what Zinc does for the body, but I am sure that it does SOMETHING good for it. I also like this pill because it contains four elements/supplements, resulting in me having to take fewer supplements (pills). Most people are not informed about the body's limited ability to absorb calcium, especially from supplements, and thus they waste money on hard-to-swallow pills that mostly pass through the system un-absorbed. Comments about Nature Made Calcium, Magnesium & Zinc, Tablets: My New Year's Resolution was to stop biting my nails. However, this is a resolution I have every year and fail to accomplish. In December, I was looking for some other things to stop nail-biting and came acroos a suggestion to take Calcium and Magnesium to stop the urge to bite nails. I had never heard this and decided to try it. I found this product and because it was a good value bought it. So far, I'm only taking two pills per day (haven't worked up to three), and my nails are growing!! This, plus daily olive oil on my cuticles are the only things I'm doing and my nails look better than ever in a very short period of time. As an added bonus, I feel like I have more energy throughout the day. Also, I take this in the afternoon with my lunch. If I take the pill early in the morning (or when my throat is dry), it doesn't go down as easily, but I've always had this problem with any pill I've ever taken.
