Comments about Nature Made Multi Prenatal, Tablets, 250 ea:

These are actually smaller than a Women's One-a-day, so they are easy to take. You just take one a day. They haven't made me nauseous, but I take them with food, and I'm not pregnant. I've been taking them in case I become pregnant (you shouldn't wait to take prenatal vitamins until after you're sure you're pregnant, as the first several weeks of pregnancy are important). Based on information from the National Institutes of Health, calcium makes it more difficult to absorb iron, so you will probably want to take a separate calcium tablet at a different time of day, since this tablet (multi prenatal) has a lot of iron. I noticed that the iron helped to regulate my periods, and it did cause some constipation, which is a typical side effect of iron. It doesn't have DHA, which may be beneficial during pregnancy, so you might want to get a separate supplement for that. It is high in folic acid, which helps to prevent spinal column problems in the fetus (neural tube defects), particularly early in the pregnancy (another reason to start taking it now if you are trying to get pregnant). It has slightly less than the recommended amount of things like thiamin, riboflavin, and vitamin B12, but we're mostly talking micrograms or just a few grams, so it's really an insignificant difference to me. With vitamins, for some reason, people think that more is better, but it's not. Your body is all about balance. You want the right amount of these nutrients, not too much. Overall, I think this is a good vitamin, and I will probably continue to take it to regulate my periods and in case I become pregnant.

I'm used to taking GNC Womens Mega Multi Vitamin which is huge and has a slight sweet taste. This Prenatal vitamin is tiny in comparison and I dont taste anything when I take it. It's perfect and easy!

Comments about Nature Made Multi Prenatal, Tablets, 250 ea:

I'm a queasy girl any time, and had it really bad with my first pregnancy. But I wanted a dye-free daily vitamin supplement, and I tale it with dinner to keep it safely tucked into my tummy at night. No problems. It's smooth/easy enough to swallow without it being a weird slippery coating, and it's a tanish color so it's easy to tell apart from my white calcium.

Even though I am not pregnant, I use these b/c folic acid is highly recommended for all women of child bearing age who hope to have children. I am also mildly anemic and these have iron; therefore, these fit the bill. I also use them to promote healthy hair growth.

Comments about Nature Made Multi Prenatal, Tablets, 250 ea:

I am not pregnant, but a prenatal vitamin is good for all women of childbearing age to take as a multivitamin. This one had few of the unwanted added chemicals and artificial colorings, and was a good price. I have had no trouble swallowing them or tolerating them, but again, I am not pregnant.

I bought these for my second pregnancy. This seemed to intensify my nausea. I landed up only being able to take them at night, because any other time (even with food) made me throw up. :(
